Pau Gasol should really watch his mouth. He made comments regarding Kobe, does'nt get too many touches and now that. If there's anyone besides other players who's not playing well is probably him on the top 5. And leave Kobe alone. He's the reason why you're wearing a championship ring right now.

The Lakers are through.....the brain trust needs to make some trades (Fish to the bench or gone, Sasha, Luke, and Bynum yeah he is young butcount the injuries) because the chemistry (what little they had last year) is gone. These Lakers are nothing like the 80's or even 70's Lakers and NEVER will be. The 80' Lakers had that extra gear and could step on an opponent almost at will. I'd like to think they'd make it out of the first round but with the in house bickering between our spolied all star, cry baby light weight center, always hurt center of the not so near future, slacker candy man off the bench, and an old out of date point guard we are headed for a MAJOR disappointment......and to think, the critics were worried about Ron Artest being a distraction

probably ain't the word for this...they will have a hard time tuning in they're so much distractions on the team, bigs unhappy for not enough touches, bryant doing too much, fisher dishing out humongus of points to opponent, the slavic unhappy about his role, powell is useless on offense or defense, on and on and on. bynum is still on his monthly period. so yes the lakers have an insurmountable tasks looming ahead. it would be to their advantage to just think about rebuilding around their two bigs next season and don't try to kid themselves about turning it on when they need it. it's done and done for this season.

amen! 4lakers, like kobe said before "how many touches you get shouldn't affect your defense" and i agree with him. they bigs primary job is to defend the inside and take what the guards give em. that's the problem when players get too big a headed.

Excuses take the Lakers focus off the obvious: 1) they cannot defend against quicker guards, 2) they defend poorly against the pick-and-roll, 3) they do not run without the ball in offense and are slow to get back on transition defense, 4) they do not pass the ball and excecute the traingle consistently in offense, 5) they play too muxh individual basketball, 6) they shoot way too many threes and do not make them, 7) the guards shoot too much and at a miserable percentage.

This Lakers team is so one dimensional. KOBE KOBE KOBE. Like the 76ers with Iverson a few years back, everyone stand around and see if this guy can win a game by getting hot and scoring alot. There is no team ball out there with the Lakers as much as Phil Would like to see his triangle work, it will not work as long as Kobe Bryant is around. Kobe wants his touches and it's al about ME ME ME. No way the Lakers win this year. Plus that bench is as pathetic as it gets. Walton injured...Morrison might as well be named Jim Morrison....Sasha broken down Machine......Powell might as well be named Boog Powell......Mbenga jungle man no skills. I dont think this will get the Lakers very far. Second round and bounced.
