It's not as much about pace as it is about making shots!! If the Heat can make shots that in turn will slow the Hawks down and they will win.

The Heat has to score in the mid 90's to win games.

It is about the pace....because it is not about one or two possessions and scoring a few points. Rather, it is about controlling the tempo and making the other team less effective in what they are doing. It is important to score points...but you will lose anyway if you let the other team score more off the running game. Heat plan for controlling the game is limiting the possessions for the Hawks even if it means limiting Heat's own possession. Obviously, the veterns who have been through this before understand this better than the young players. Spo did a good job of getting that across to the team.

"how long b4 riles takes over?"

I'd say about as long as it will take for you to make sense.

In other words, never.

Apparently he almost threw the ball up to scare the Hawk that was hanging out on top of the backboard.

I watched in horror as the referee seemed to be on the verge of doing just that... I heard that O'Neal talked him out of it and they got the Hawk's trainer to call him back.

Very strange scenario, it almost seemed like Atlanta did it on purpose.
