<quoted text> Agreed, maybe along the way mitch will pick up some pieces that will help, but anything they do I have to imagine prepares them for next season. To me this looks hopless, lakers could be bad for a long while unless they pull yet another rabbit out of a hat which mitch has done from time to time.
Guess we are all looking forward to the 2014 free agency when some major stars are on the market..... Mitch I believe will get maybe 1-2 pieces before the trade deadline is hits.... They would be good role players.... This season will be a long one , but I think they will once again make the playoffs..... Maybe 1 and done... Just don't be like the Celtics which was waiting 20 plus years to win a title lol....

<quoted text>Umm look young man. When you win up teen championships and boat load of winning success its insulting to cover up banners to a team that has never even reached the finals. You should be ashamed even to make such a comment. It is a big deal. You should be worrying more about if your cable gets cut off and you don't even see a game. Man the more you type the more convincing you make yourself as a fraud artist.

His head blew up when he won a championship, I like to see him give Tom Thibodeau some credit for showing Doc how to coach great defense. Thats what the Celtics were about.

LOL By hopeless I counted the FA period as well, who do you think we can get other than maybe mellow? A lot of the big names are restricted, they would have to do what Howard did and walk away from big money, a lot of them are young punks who are not ready to walk away from money, I honestly cannot see who would come over, other than maybe carmelo but then again look whos coach and these 2 dont like each other, I just dont see how they are gonna improve this team dramatically any time soon.

Allen Iverson has no one to blame, but his own arrogance, that made him believe he was a chosen one to deliver a title, when he was barely a broken piece that couldn't be fit into any puzzle.

He didn't compromise to anything from a practice to the better of the team, all his big acolytes point to one thing, the selfishness of his game, his love for self promotion and lack of any leadership.

To blame the media and the NBA, would be a lack owning his demons and not seeing his failures as a player, not realizing he was cancerous for any team that took him.

All I read in here is about how everyone is to blame, for Iverson's own stupidity, but Iverson.

Iverson was the poster child for what a franchise player is not suppose to act like and this article trying to make me believe he was pioneer cause he was too real!, how about it was too immature, refused to grow up and didn't show the education of some one that had the opportunity to go an University, another reason why he is broke! after some many millions $$ passed through his hands.

Iverson acted like he was above the game, he forgot the game was here before him and he didn't invent it, nor did he take it to a new level, but he acted like if without him the game wouldn't be the same, WRONG!
Few players can leave a mark like that and he is not one of them.

This part here is straight out a lie.
"In a span of 5 years Allen Iverson went from the face of the NBA to out of the league and not receiving a single offer from an NBA team which lead to this retirement."

All the teams that tried to take shot on him, had to deal with his demands or it was a no go and only certain teams could approach him.
He was not going to play second fiddle to some players and he made it clear, making the list even smaller.

This Article sounds like the fantasy a Iverson's fan would write about a player he didn't know much about, but thinks he knows.

I don't think is shot at Wade, but instead at Lebron James.

Pretty much saying LBJ you are in Wade's team, for going to Miami, since KD is his own team didn't have to go no where to get title, cause he couldn't win it other wise.

I'm just saying, that's the impression I got from it.

<quoted text>Umm Buddy you are reading this all wrong and taking it out of context. First off, did they(Clippers) do this before? and why now? If the Banners were not covered before what is the reasoning now? You know full out know why they did it , don't mask it with monkey talk dude.Truthfully they should not be playing in the same arena, no one in the league does that. Not even the Nets/Knicks. Secondly, he may have outcoached him but what about the back to back times Doc was dissed? Pardon? Can't hear you son.It is not petty and it is important. If the Clippers want real respect they ahve to earn it. It will be years and years if we ever see them accomplish what the Lakers have done period.
Yeah,so I know why they did it and if it was Phil doing it you all would be talking about what a genius he is for pushing peoples buttons and getting in their heads....I still say leave it be.....BTW , how does a monkey talk?!

<quoted text>RR you are right. These are the idiot fans who supproted the team over the years. Clueless to basketball period, it clearly shows. Thats what I was trying to tell you guys all along. Educated fans stay away from crap like that and support in different ways. The clowns with money who buy into a losing franchise year after year, don't know anything about waht they are spending their money on.I was laughing at that too RR. I was saying to myself, what the heck is he talking about. Galaxy yes but Lakers? Hell to the no.
You can even throw the Kings in there too, but no where the Lakers.

I like the he did point out that he watched and learn from the Lakers on how to get it done, and it shows in the Galaxy and Kings that he did learn how to get it done.

We got bunch of fans like that here, that thinks the just by throwing the name Lakers out there players will melt and come over, will take pay cuts just to wear the Lkrs jersey, yeah right!!!

Dude!, I know this not related to bb, but I learned yesterday that they were giving out free Flat TVs screens and Nokia, HTC phones to the people that showed up to the filming Man of Steel 2 movie, this pass weekend.

I thought it was going to be sold out game cause they were giving out free t-shirts, so I didn't bother to go for it.

Had I known it was going to be pretty empty and they were throwing in free Tvs and Cell phone with those free jerseys, I would had been there for sure.

Yea I saw the Twitter comments. Ron respects T because there are not enough bad boys out there. The league needs more and more money with a squeaky clean image.
