Another broken marriage? It's so disappointing. If we would do things God's way, then this wouldn't be so. What's missing in so many of these unions, is not love. Why does she need spousal support. Child support should be enough. Can't she go out and earn her own living. Why does she need her ex to continue to support "HER." That's what's wrong with the insitution of marriage nowadays. It gives women the right to continue to leach off of men after marriage; especially if the men are successful. And women still wonder why they get paid less and are not as respected as their counterparts when it comes to certain fields of employment. They always want a handout and if kids are involved they want even more. I think Shaq should support his kids but not his ex-wife or soon to be. When it's over, it's over, I don't care how good you may of had while you were together....

Do you even read what you write?The marriage would survive? "Gods way" is not the answer to every question. The ozzie and harriet generation did just that and they stayed in loveless marriages for the kids and look how well that turned out.

It does not give women the right to leach off men after marriage, and not all women get spousal support in the end. My sister caught her husband with some 20 year old little whore, and when she divorced him, he not only took most of their stuff, he stopped paying on both the cars (and one was in her name), gave her the gas guzzler he was driving and took her little economy car, and it ended up being repossessed (keep in mind this car was in her name)! And to top it off he took half the money from the house they sold (the house SHE paid for every month!)
So don't go spouting off about stuff you obviously know nothing, or very little, about Richie Rich....and as far as spousal support, yeah she never got that either....he tried to get HER to pay it to him!
