Every time I see that LeBron James changed his #23 to give honor to Michael Jordan, it makes me realize just how stupid some of these pro sports players are.
My point, James turned in his #23 that matched Jordan's but then he turns around and picks the # of the one guy that earned more than twice as many rings as Michael.#6, Lebron's new # belongs to Bill Russell, who dwarfs Jordan in championships. Russell earned 11 championships rings in his 13 years, and earned two more as a coach (player/coach) during those same years. That's 13 rings for Russell to Jordan's 6.
If LeBron is giving honor to Jordan by giving up his #, what is he saying about Bill Russell by taking his? Duh...
Hopefully LeBron with all his fame and fortune will one day get an education. He can start right now by giving honor to Bill Russell and picking a number that doesn't show how stupid he really is.
