That's okay, 89 will probably be the same as the place Jr finishes in the points standings next season...so you'll still have that nostalgic connection to your favorite loser.
I dont think it goes that high.....89. Almost though, 85 different drivers obtained points in 2010 in Sprint Cup. 10 of them tied for last place at 6622 points for the year. I hope your driver makes the chase next year, who ever he is, stayin in that comfort zone aint ya Barnapus.

I knew that, but Junior's performance of late is bad enough he could come in 89th in an 85 driver race...THAT was the point.

<quoted text> You know, thru history, the Hendrick team has always had one car in the stable that just wouldnt go. Most recently in the 5 car was Kyle Busch, that car just wouldnt go for him, he was not competitive consistantly. Now, he was a rookie and he did wreck a lot but he was in a Hendrick car, the best of the best. Then when Kyle lets it slip to Mr Hendrick that hes looking around at other teams and Mr Hendrick fires him and goes after JR Kyle goes to Gibbs and you know the rest. Why didnt Kyle have the success at Hendrick that he does at Gibbs? Because Hendrick always has one car that wont go. Rook it rup!!
Only problem with your theory is that the reason that one car (#5) thru history, wasn't as good as the others in the Hendrick garage was because it is usually driven by a rookie or an inexperienced driver. Dale Jr has been in the Sprint Cup league for 11 seasons, he should be better'n that. It's not the car, it's the driver.

Did you notice that Mark Martin could make the Number 5 car go just fine, even brought it home with a 2nd place finish in the standings 2009. How come the car could go for him? It's not the car, it's the driver.

DUH! The reason Kyle didn't do so well in the Hendrick #5 car was because he didn't have the experience yet. Once he got a little experience under his belt he's unstoppable. It's not the car, it's the driver.

Besides, in case you haven't noticed, Junior is not driving the number 5 (aka Hendrick's junk) car, he's driving the 88 car. So there's another reason why your excuse doesn't excuse Junior's lousy performance. It's not the car, it's the driver.

Wanna try again? It's not the car, it's the driver.

<quoted text> I rould if I could runderstand it. Where does one find ancient plovelbs Wanger? Tell me where to find it, I want to read them, it would be interesting to see what your plovelbs say. The only Proverbs I know about are in my King James Bible, they have served me well in the past 88 years. Im gonna hate turning 89, then my age wont be the same as Jrs number.........bummer!! Go 88 48 24 5, thats the Hendrick Team..........NASCARs ELITE TEAM........rook it rup!!!!!!!
Geez I have been reading all these posts and I gotta ask....are you really that dumb? You get on Wang for spelling because you can't figure out that he is replacing every "r" with an "l", and every "l" with an "r", which plays up the Asian stereotype of how they pronouce things in English. They guy obviously isn't Asian, and is probably laughing his head off at you every time you criticize his spelling.

Why don't you go? Permanently. Horrible, pathetic excuse for a person with no life.

Of all 4 cars at Hendrick, I thought it was Casey Mears in a good #5 car most recently, after Mears/Vickers in the #25 junk car. I probably got the order screwed up.

Here is a link to show the stats of the cars that HMS has stabled.

Take a look at the drivers names, number of years in their career (either ending or beginning) and what their season rack was.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hendrick_Motorsp...

This cleary shows "it's not the car, it's the driver".

Thanks Barnabus for the great quote.
