Tim Richmond yes and the other 2 were on specials on speed. I try to follow as much history (not just NASCAR) as I possibly can. I like I said before, I was just tossing names out that an ACTUAL nascar fan would know.
Richmond died in'89 and last raced in '87 or '88, if you're 30 you would have been 8 or 9 years old, I would doubt you were watching it then.
But if you were good for you.

Then maybe you should try reading up on history of NASCAR. Gee ya think???
Oh, hate to burst your bubble, but I have read several books on the history of the sport and the drivers of the past. Love how you folks who have been watching the sport for years think you're more knowledgable then those of us who started watching in this decade.

Tootles!!!!!!!! BTW, Tim Richmond raced for Hendrick Motorsports. Many people said that he had a stunning career ahead of him and it has been said had he lived(he died of AIDS, btw)it is quite possible that Junior's father wouldn't have seven championships, people were that high on his talent.

Janet Guthrie was the first woman to really try and make a name for herself in the sport. Don't know as much about her as I do others, but I have an idea at least.

Good enough for you?????

If you know so much about the history of NASCAR than how would you forget a female driver by the name of Louise Smith who was elected into the NASCAR Hall of Fame? Speaking of Janet Guthrie, do you know what type of vehicle she made much of her name racing?

Really? I thought Tony Stewart won the Cup race today. Guess I was watching the wrong Cup race.
I love how the Kyle fans can't understand someone else winning a race and their driver finished where today? Oh yeah, not too far off where Jr finished HAHAHAHAHAHA
Another loss for Kyle in the Cup series, gotta love it.
You got to love it, this primate thinks a loss for Kyle Busch is a bad thing, at least Kyle runs for wins, not just to get into the teens, as far as finishes goes. The reference to the winners circle antic was the Nation Wide race, how many races has Joonyer won in any division, this year?

Books and articles are biased, so you're not getting the true picture from those sources, as someone who has followed the sport through the years. For instance: Judging by the hype the media trumped up over Dale Jr, he will go down in history as one of NASCAR's better drivers, and he ain't even close. But years from now, the articles and books will have changed the truth about him and polished him up to be something he never was.

For that reason, reading some books about it doesn't make you as informed on what really happened as someone who experienced it.

Actually accessing your stupidity is MORE funny.

I quote the absence of education on this primate by her statement, "This is to funny!!!".

This primate is so proud of her ignorance and lack of understanding of how to properly use the words, to and too that it must use three exclamations to illustrate her ignorance.

Perhaps you meant to say, This is TOO funny?
