Ok do yall think Rick Hendrick should wait to make a change or go ahead if jr doesn't do good in this race..If he keeps waiting he want have a chance of making the chase and if he cares about the racing and not all the money Jr is making for him he will do something soon..

He needs to make the change now not later. Jr also needs to think about his career and his cousin's career. Jr isn't just holding himself back, but he is holding Tony Jr back as well. Both may do a lot better working with someone else.

Who knows, maybe both Jr and Tony Jr are happy losing instead of winning.

Make the change after the 600 either way--- One race, unless they win it, cannot erase what has happened this year. It's not as if they were always in the top 10 and only needed a little tweak... they (all the team on the track and at the shop) have been bad now since middle of last season.

I still cheer, but part of me is not looking forward to the race this weekend.. I don't want to end up being disappointed.

I was really disappointed in the qualifying yesterday. I just don't get it. Three Hendrick drivers and one using HMS equipment are starting in the top five again and theres Jr mid pack again. I'm not even going to speculate anymore. Maybe its the 88 car number. I remember when he announced that car # after he joined HMS and everyone was saying double the number (88), double the wins. Wrong!

Don't even get me started on qualifying. I was so upset after I saw that. I don't think its teh ** car number its a mixture of Car,Driver and Crew Chief.

They haven't really won that many races together. Tony Sr. was CC when Jr won most of his races. Maybe Jr just needs someone he respects instead of someone he considers his equal? Just a thought. You are right though it needs to be done yesterday!
Take care

Is there another race this weekend besides the Indianapolis 500? When did that happen?

I like Jr and it is sad. I think Mr.H needs to do something now too. Its obviously not getting any better. I really don't think theres a chance for him to make the chase now unless things turn around drastically and their not going to figure it out overnight.

Every year! Tony Stewart and another driver have competed in both some years ago. I am certain it made for some very dehydrated and worn out drivers.

Agree...

It's nice to see that even though we are Jr fans, we can think logically about the situation and, refrain from any name calling, to get the point across that it's time. Sad to say, but it's time.

Nothing short of a win "should" keep them together any longer, and I'm sure Mr. H also needs to take a real hard look at the "team" - at the track and the shop.

Have a safe and wonderful Memorial Day Weekend everyone!

No not 93 yrs but about (Nascar)60. Not sure how long they've been running the 600. No COT in the beginning. I should have been more specific. Sorry.
