the Saddleback church with the preacher who wrote the Purpose Driven Life series of books was the site of the most reveiling talks concerning both presidential candidates.. it was really great. The media has done us all an injustice by not letting us see what a quick minded, intelligent man John McCain is..I am more convinced than ever that he is the right man for the job at this time in our nations history.
He will not get my vote

John McCain is not a Christian. He is just using Christians for their votes. He needs the Christians to vote for him so he can continue a war that never should have been started.

The main problem with Obama is that because he is so well spoken, people take it as a hoity toity attitude. What I watched was some McCain conversation and some points I agree with, others no and other questions he didn't even answer.

Either way our country will be in a hell of a mess if we elect either of them. We desperately need a Democrat in office but not the Democrat that we have been offered.

God bless America and please dear Lord, have people realize when they do vote that they are voting for the leader of the free world, not an American Idol...
and to the person who said that McCain is not a Christian... the best way to tell if a person is a Christian is by their behavior and McCain has been above it all from the start...I am not going to even start arguing if Mr Silver Tongue is religious at all... but if you read the first sentence of the catacism book that he was undoubtably studying while in Hawaii,,, he had them well memorized...I recognized them from whenever I go into a catholic church and hear the crowd drone those same exact words..

McCain proved what a good christian he was while chasing around on his wife.
What a wonderful adulter he has been.
He is another Bush Jr.

Now wait a minute. Are you talking about when he cheated on Carol w/ Cindy or on Cindy w/ the lobbyist?? He's done it so often it's hard to keep track.

if you listened Snow, which you probably did not, McCain said that the dissolutiuon of his first marriage was his greatest moral mistake...now, that is how far back you have to go in his history to find where he made a human mistake like so many other Vietnam veterans have made... if you actually think that Barack Obama, a man who admits that his years in high school were spent in an alcoholic and drug induced stupor... than you tell me which one is worse... but be aware that McCains first wife supports him,,,and the people who Barack talks about in his autobiography say that he is dillusional about his past.. a lot of it is fiction...

And what about George Bush, Debi? He admitted he was alcoholic. So, you can't really be serious here. Your bigotry is showing again, dear.

Americans have the right to vote for the leader of their country... other countries, the leader does not even allow anyone to go against him, others, the media is only allowed to cover the guy in charge... I think it is sad that American media is covering only half of this election.. they will show a sentence where McCain misspoke, but they will not show any of his incredible speeches, showing that he is smart, and has the experience for the job... the media in America is taking our rights away to make good judgement of who to vote for and I for one am ashamed that this is happening in America.. all of you deserve to know the truth about both candidates, but since you have to go out and buy a couple of books about Barack, you won't do it, you would rather watch him on network and cable TV taking advantage of huge crowds that gather for free concerts and beer...he is a man...a regular man who regardless that he tells you that he can solve all of your problems...is going to be really really sad to let you down when he gets in the oval office and sees what the president of the USA has got to deal with on a daily basis...it is the most important job on Earth and it is a serious matter... so buy the books and read them because Barack does not deserve your vote and I don't want you to be let down and embarrassed that you put him in office.

Debi, you have every right to vote for whoever you want. But, don't denigrate anyone else for voting for someone else. That is unAmerican. If you want to brag about our freedoms then you need to respect those. Stop putting people down and thinking you are so morally, and intellectually superior. I assure you that you are neither. You are just a person like the rest of us.

Oh wow, Barack partied in high school?? Well, that's it, I'm not voting for him now. LOL. You need to do better then that, sorry. McCain left his first, crippled wife for Cindy because she was rich & would be good for his career. His kids wouldn't speak to him for years over it. Little did he know that his second wife would turn out to be a drug addict that stole drugs to support her habit from a medical charity she ran.(before anyone jumps me, I know she went to rehab etc, but it still happened & I'm just trying to show DABs that noone is without flaws) Debi, the bottom line to me is this: You can keep babbling about Obama & all that is wrong with him, in your opinion & others can come right back with bad things about McCain. You're not going to change anyones opinion, let alone their vote on an internet forum for Tony Stewart. Sorry.

you are right, I should go on about his affiliations with Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright... and all that I am asking of any of you is that you read his own books that he wrote about himself... that is all.. I do not think it is too much to ask that you get the TRUTH about him.. in his own words...I know that you all think I am perfect and I honestly have never messed around with anyone but that does not make me smart enough to be president

I was talking about both, No wonder Cindy got strung out on drugs. She no doubt had a lot to deal with,,,

I had no doubt you weren't smart enough to be president. But, again, you miss the entire point...people see things DIFFERENTLY and that's what makes this country what it is. If you don't like Barack Obama then don't vote for him. Others have the right to vote for him. Your opinion isn't going to sway anyone. As a matter of fact it might have the opposite effect.

Preach on Debi. I would not vote for him to run our Dog pound..He would be taxing us for dog food and blaming the democrats for it......He needs to get him a rocking chair and entertain his wife.....
