I don't know the answer to this one. It could work and turn out to be an exciting All-Star Race or JJ could dominate and the TV ratings will drop like a lead balloon.

Even one of the announcers commented there were a lot of boos when Danica was announced winning the fan vote. Stenhouse Jr raced his way in. Guess I'm not the only one who thinks this was just as fixed as her winning the Daytona 500 pole.

so, how in the HECK does Jimmie get to go in 4th.???????? he was not supposed to be in the top 10 there.. as usual NASCAR is full of CRAP!!! they are illigitimate!!!

let's see... they allow them to work on the cars under red flag... while some did not pit and so could not do that... then they do not tell the CHEATING 48 team to get in line where he was SUPPOSED to be... like 11th... HOW FULL OF CRAP CAN NASCAR BE?????

This is from an article that tries to explain how after Nascar said no sandbagging, they found a way for JJ to win anyway:

However, under NASCAR’s new rule for the final pit stops, the field was reset to enter pit road according to average finishes from the first four segments. Therefore, Johnson lined up fourth and then raced through a stop and exited second for the final dash for cash.

And what about this condescending "Ha! Ha! Ha!" comment:

Jimmie Johnson, on conspiracy theorists questioning the validity of Saturday night’s win.

“People just want to hate,” Johnson said.“That's fine. That's fine. I'm just lucky. NASCAR rigs the races and whatever they want to believe. I'm going home with a cool trophy and a big check and we all really know what happened. So whatever.”

From the "fan vote" to the checkered flag Nascar ran this show just the way they wanted.

those stands were empty because the 48 team gets so many special privileges... it is honestly sickening that they sacrifice the entire sport for the illuminati... Jimmie, NO ONE LIKES YOU!!!! YOU ARE BORING!!!! I wish to GOD one of these guys who is close enough to him would WRECK HIM!!! how the stands would ERUPT!!!! You can't catch him... don't let him PASS YOU!!! WRECK the guy who is stealing the wins and destroying the entire sport!!!

what is hillarious is that the chimp does not realize that NO ONE thinks the way he "wins" races, aka off pit road, is LEGITIMATE.... NO ONE!!! one would THINK that if he cared for the sport, that he would then QUIT the off pit road crap and race like everyone else does... but no.. that is his ace in the hole...his only talent.. "clean air"
