I do not think Nascar should have let him drive after
he beat his wife and was arrested and went to jail. They
should have let him get this mess taken care of before he gets to drive again. Setting a gooooooooooood role model nascar...

They should have made his run the car saying I am the abuser when it comes to domestic violence. What a dork.

We don't know if he's guilty or not. But I do know what's wrong is you and others convicting him before he has his day in court. If he's found guilty than stick it to him!!

We don't know if he "beat" his wife or if it was just a stupid argument. Most states have laws where if the police are called out on a domestic dispute call than someone is going to jail. We don't know if this was the case and we should hold judgement until he has his day to defend himself.

You wouldn't want to be judged unfairly now would you. Don't set out to destroy him without knowing the facts first.

If
nothing much happened why was he stuttering so much on TV
saying how sorry he was. If he done nothing he should have said so.

He should not have had to address this matter in the media - maybe that reporter with the totally tasteless unmitigated gall would like to make details of their personal life public!

If Nascar understands this is a private matter, then he certainly does not have to justify his actions to some nosy reporter, or you!

I don't need him to justify his actions but it was funny as hell that Nascar made him rewrap his car and take that Domestic violence awareness wrap off it. I guess after Nov 19th he will either be cleared or pay his dues.

It doen't matter whether it is a racing personality or who it is, I feel sad when I read or hear about marriages that have gotten off base and something of this nature has happened. It's seems there is nothing but pressure from every direction on the family unit anymore. Regardless, no man should get physical with his girlfriend or wife.

I totally agree.

I don't condone abuse - physical, verbal, emotional - from either party in a relationship.(and it does go both ways)

I still would like to give Travis the benefit of the doubt though, since being arrested does not make one guilty.
