OK, I have this figured out again.... when the first caution came out, Tony was going into the pits and Jimmie who had been quite far behind him, suddenly found the gas pedal and zipped past Tony getting into his pit... Soo,,,,,,, what Chadster does on these restrictor plate tracks is... to put Jrs transponder on Jimmies car and Jimmies on Jrs car so Jimmie can get away with speeding but jr gets caught every single time.. knowing full well a phantom debris caution IS going to be called for Junebug to get back his lap.....

I was watching Tony's channel and he was concerned earlier that he and Gilliland stay far enough back to save the pathetic nonracer Denny.. wasn't that nice????
Yes it was cuz Denny kept getting too far back losing the draft...

isn't it criminal that Casey Mears caused so much trouble for carl and Joey and he is up front racing after that???? and these idiot announcers forget that HE caused that first wreck

Finch will give the ride to which ever one can bring a sponsor. Maybe one of those drug program places will sponsor AJ... LOL again I think AJ was SET UP!!! but wouldn't it be ironic if he got sponsored by some drug therapy because he got set up???

so Tony is told that the 1 and the 29 are a half a lap short.. and Tony switches lanes knowing there will be a pile up... and the commentators who KNOW Jaime is short say "tough tough tough" about Jaime spinning out of line.. that is absurd... these announcers are brainless. I THINK that when a team KNOWINGLY runs out of gas at 195 mph,, they need to be blackflagged before the wreck happens.

OMG Tony took the blame.. Tony you are not the godfather of this idiotic sport... you do not have to stay back and not let competitors stay on the lead lap... YOU who have no helpers at the end of these races.. maybe if one of these CREEPs would stay behind the guy right in front of them on the last lap,, a wreck wouldn't need to happen

At least I'm glad you heard it for yourself and you're not jumping on somebody's else's back for saying it first.

When Tony took the white flag I knew the race was his to lose. I was shocked that he was involved in the "big one" and concerned it seemed to take awhile to get him out his car. I'm grateful he was not injured, and I doubt he had had time to review a replay before the interview. I wondered if he knew how he contributed to it?

I'm proud that he took responsibility for his actions and knows how it impacted so many other drivers/teams, and cost himself 2 spots in the points. From green flag to checkered flag, the way he raced and interviewed today made me proud to be a Tony Stewart fan.

I too was very proud of Tony.. he is an amazingly good sport and he loves this sport and wants to save it.. The thing is that I had seen the wreck from Tony's channel and it looked like Mikey turned him, but Tony in reality seemed to be merely driving.. going into the turn, not blocking.. It is a pity it happened at all.. Mikey seemed to very much appreciate Tony taking the blame and Mikey even took blame.. Casey Mears seemed to take blame because he said he felt Mikey put on the brakes but it was too late,m he was pushing too hard... so.... as I said, I admire Tony's love for racing and that he honestly was making sure Denny did not lose the draft.. Tony is a man who wants to race fair and square and that is very admireable. I wish to God that the commentators appreciated Tony for the race car driver that he is. he is a class act

I'm not so sure Tony would agree with you. So far you've managed to blame Michael Waltrip, Clint Bowyer and Casey Mears for it, and not without insults - anybody but Tony - even after he admitted fault.

He accepts the fact that he is human and makes mistakes. Sometimes he has to go back to the media to explain or express regret for something he's done.(these would be the matters when I usually get accused of not being a Tony fan) I'm glad he doesn't always make excuses the way some of his fans do.

Tony is the one that said if anyone blocks me I will wreck them. He was the one blocking. All I can say is
he needed about 19 Helmets thrown in his face.He just needs to shut up after this deal.I like Tony but according to him its o.k. for him to block but not for anyone else. What do you think about this Debi??????????
