Judging by qualifying it doesn't look like the Chase and 2012 season will end on much of an exciting note. Only 4 chasers in the top 10 and I think last week they said even if the 48 wins the race the 2 car only needs to finish 15th.

Looks like another long Sun afternoon drive for the 14, and I have no idea why the 11 qualified on owner points.

I'm not expecting anything to happen between the 15 and 24 .... tomorrow. I hope when the 15 does retaliate it will be when it can really hurt the 24 and I think he's a good enough driver to make it look like just a racing incident.

You should have seen
the 11 Qualify his car was throwing sparks and had no speed. Clint is a snake and will try what you said but I think the HMS drivers will take care of Clint if he pulls any more crap. He has already been paying Gordon all year. I think he got what he deserved.

Can I asked a few questions . SMOKE has made it clear more the once. He make a very public statement to the driver & NASCAR. If someone blocks me I WILL MOVE THEM. People on here go wild you cheer him on.But others drivers do the same thing on the track & you people want them parked . And make statements if a driver was killed criminal charges should be brought against them.
{{Now}} what if Smoke was to dump a driver sending him out of control would you want SMOKE parked ???{{More importantly }}}What after making a very public announcement.[[That he would deliberately wreck a driver who tried to block him.]] The driver SMOKE pushed out of his way wreck and was KILLED!!!
A DRIVER IS KILLED BECAUSE SMOKE MADE GOOD ON A VERY PUBIC THREAT!!!!(Should SMOKE or any driver)be held criminally responsible if a driver is KILLED!!! When a Driver has made it publicly clear if a driver gets in my way I will wreck them???????
I really do believe people on here have tunnel vision . You only see wrong when it is a driver that you hate . But if it is a driver you worship .THEY CAN DO NO WRONG . I have said many times the rules R for all the driver & teams. Not just for the ones you worship<<< I do not get the worship hero thing & never will.LOL

If your refering to Jr. He is not as stupid as Kylie. If Clint dogs Jr like he has Gordon he had better take him out.
I guess Clint knows now he had better quit wrecking the same people all the time. Payback are a bitch.

I do not want to believe that any race driver has been killed by the intentional actions of another. Tempers flare and feuds fester, but I think ultimate goal in retaliation is to wreck your opponent's car, certainly not murder using a 3,000+ pound weapon with a capability of up to 200 mph.

I have a limited history of Nascar, but I do not recall that any driver was ever charged criminally for events on or at the race track.

We all have our favorite (and least favorite) drivers, but I think most of us would agree with you regarding hero worship and don't cross the line into obsession.

You really R a mentally challenged person aren't you. Why else would U keep making these immature childless remarks OVER & OVER AGAIN. Plus people that R mentally challenged can not make up their minds & stick to anything. Like you changing your favorite driver from month to month.

He wrecked Jeff last Sunday he wrecked Jimmie and Jeff both at the martinsville race. I have seen him ram Jeff on 3 other occasions. Maybe Kylie is not stupid but has stupid ways. I don't think Jeff should have been parked he just helped to even the score a bit.Watch Clint behave himself this race tomorrow.

He was going for the win, I am sure he did not want to wreck them. Jeff was being childish.

It seems to me your post #4 is somewhat fact-based, somewhat speculation-based. Guess I didn't answer it the way you wanted me to, or to your satisfaction. Here is the quote I think you referenced:

While Tony admits initiating this payback, he obviously did not damage Vickers car enough to end the race. In the incidents between Stewart/Vickers and Bowyer/Gordon, it was clearly Vickers and Gordon with the killer instincts.

Yes, I very much think Gordon deserved to be suspended. He was either black flagged or knew he was about to be. In addition to his actions involving a Chase driver with a good chance of finishing at least 2nd in the 2012 season he is also responsible for wrecking the 20 and 43. I didn't hear that other drivers got involved in the Stewart/Vickers incident, but they had plenty to say about Gordon.

If you are insinuating that I do hold Tony to those same standards, you are mistaken. I was one of the first proponents who felt he should be penalized for throwing his helmet, and feel Nascar set a bad precedent for not taking action on that little temper tantrum. However, I respect the way Tony and Matt worked out their differences and have since raced respectably. I also think it's interesting that beginning in 2013 Matt will drive the car Tony walked away from.

MY main question is.... Tony makes a very public statement if driver get in my way they will be moved . He made the statement many times in the last couple of years( and other drivers). This is something that has been only happening in the last few yrs.Driver from the past never made a public statement to trash drivers in future races.R you understanding what I am getting at.So again I ask if a driver makes a public threat to move drivers who get in their way. They make good on their threat they move a driver & the driver is killed!!! Should this driver be held on criminal charges. In other words if Tony was to make good on his threat he moves a driver that gets in his way .Where is this any different then a person telling someone (YOU STEP FOOT ON MY LAND I WILL KILL YOU). I think these drivers including SMOKE making very public threats to trash driver in the future COULD possibly be setting them selves up for criminal charges. As far as what happened with 24 & 15 was good ole fashion racing that has been going on from the beginning of NASCAR.And what the fans have been missing since 2001. Any race driver KNOWS when he straps into a race car the chances he could be killed IS VERY REAL. Lets face reality if criminal charges were to be brought up against a driver . It would have been the driver that did the bump & run on Sr.No driver in any sport of racing has ever been charged for causing the death of a driver . BUT!!!! and more importantly the driver that caused the accident . NEVER PUBLICLY STATE THEY WOULD TRASH A DRIVER THAT GOT IN THEIR WAY. < Big difference !!

When Jr. deliberately spun himself out to get a caution, don't you think that could have caused a big wreck? Or, is there a safe way to spin yourself out without damaging other cars or hurting other drivers?

I beg to differ...
I say it again . People on here have tunnel vision . What Kyle did I have never seen in NASCAR in all my yrs of watching racing. What Kyle did was not pay back . It was a man that lost complete control . Kyle SNAPPED and this is dangerous thing for any driver.J/S
