Wow, the drama continues for this team and driver. I personally dont believe this was an intentional infraction, but who knows the truth?? I am surprized that Joe Gibbs and Kyle were only docked 6 points, usally this is a 25 point infraction but NASCAR only went with the 6. Makes me wonder a little bit if NASCAR aint favoring the 18 team a little bit. NASCAR didnt do anything to Kyle for what he called a congratualtory bump, and we all know what it caused Richard Childress to do. I also wonder if Joe Gibbs has had enough of Kyle and his crap he seems to continually swim in. Seems like there is always something going on with that driver. But it is what is and NASCAR has ruled so there you go. This has to be a big distraction to the 18 team, Kyle may just have lost all hope of his championship run for this year.

Oh yes, Let's count Kyle out before the chase even starts.

How many times has the 48 been caught cheating? That team's a bigger cheater.

If NASCAR checks one car post race, why don't they check all of them? All or none! Seems like somethings going on when they pick to check the one car that is 1/4" low. Someone has good eyes. Were any other cars checked? Let's support these drivers for their driving skill; not for the politics involved. It's not a popularity contest. Kyle Busch is head and shoulders above the other drivers in driving skill. Give the man his due credit.

Im sorry but Kyle is not head and shoulders above them all!! That title would go to Jimmy Johnson and the 48 team. Cause, hes the champ right now.........5 times in a dadgum row. Kyle has not earned a championship yet but could if he could stop the drama queen act and focus on racing and not being "rowdy".

They just docked Hornaday 25 points for an infraction. The trucks and NNS penalties have always been lower then cup.

NASCAR needs to be consistant. They started out with a 25 point penality then they should have stuck with it. That's why have been pissed at NASCAR, the inconsistency but over they last couple of years they got so much better. Now they are all over the board again.

If NASCAR wants to be consistent, they should inspect ALL cars when they pull an surprise inspection. I'm guessing that a lot of the cars are out of tolerance since it has to be an exact height. Lots of stuff can happen during a race to change the height such a small amount.

I agree. but Kyles crew chief said they found the problem at the shop as to why the car was lower. I dont think this was intentional or cheating on thier part, just a mistake in the shop. But the 18 team sure didnt need this drama added to the drama they already have.

I see what you're saying. I didnt figure the 25 was for a current system infraction since I don't follow trucks so much.

What I heard on ESPN the car was 1/16th of an inch low. I think it's "bull crap". If Kyle doesn't make the Chase over some piddly infraction like this a lot of us will be angry. Jimmy Johnson can do most anything he wants & never a peep out of NASCAR.

Bowyer received 150 point penality last year during the chase for being off 1/16th of an inch. RCR appealed it because his car was pushed by a tow truck which more then likely caused the infraction. He lost the appeal.

Thats just not true, the 48 team has been penalized in the past by NASCAR. Whatcha gonna do, stop bein a fan if Kyle dont make the chase. Im sure we will all miss all 25 of you. LOL If Kyle dont make the chase it will be because of all the distractions he creates around himself......speeding tickets.......being "rowdy".......mistak es measuring the car at the shop......Rodgers said it was a mistake made at the 18 shop, so, they did this to themselves. Be mad at them, not NASCAR.

If I remember correctly wasn't Gibb's caught with magnets under the gas pedal in 2008? So Weasel boy and the other nationwide Gibb's car's were busted for cheating. It is only cheating if you get caught I guess LOL.

NO. I will continue to root for him as I root for Jeff Gordon. My point was 5 time Jimmy Johnson doesn't get the penalities as often as Harvick,Kyle & other drivers do, even though he has many infractions. What Kyle does on the highway is his business & the state patrol. If he wasn't "rowdy" he wouldn't have half the fans he has now; and yes he does have plenty of fans. If you don't believe it check on all the paraphernalia he sells; t-shirts, hats, sweaters & etc. I'm sure he will make the Chase. He still is in 5th place, 31 points below Cousin Carl. I did not say I was mad at anyone or NASCAR for if I was my TV would be tuned to another station. I said I would be angry... period.
