CONGRATULATIONS JOHNNY!! GO JOHNNY GO!!
That was one of the most exciting races I've seen in a long time! And no one deserves it more than Grand Rapids own Johnny Benson! In my house, down here in NC, we we going nuts. I'm sure the neighbors wondered what's up. But...we are from GR, just transplanted down here for now!

Absolutely!...

Between my buddy Maro & I, we were very nervous for our drivers, probably me more! My legs actually began to go numb, but once he won the title, my adrenaline kick in & I went bonkers, as did Mardeth with her driver winning the race. All of my friends were happy for me & JB! Maro did congratulate me as soon as the broadcast was over. She told me if her Hornaday was to lose to anyone, she was glad it was one of her friend's favorite drivers!

I am so proud of Johhny! Congratulations!...^_^

but I have not seen what channel is covering it.

Are you sure the banquest is tonight already? I think it's usually on a Friday or Saturday. I'm guessing it will be on SPEED.

My gosh... that was one of the most exciting races I've seen in a very long time. I just love the truck series!!! I would have loved if the last caution didn't come out because it would have put JB & RH racing side by side to the finish line. Too bad the NW & Cup races didn't put me at the edge of my chair like this race.

Yeah, snow, I saw that too. I have a friend that knows all things NASCAR - I emailed her to ask and am awaiting a response. I'll let y'all know if I find out anything.

I've check SPEED Channel's schedule on Fridays and Saturdays through the first part of December and don't see any of the banquets scheduled. Maybe it's not on SPEED, but seems like they all were last year, which was why I missed them.

Sprint cup one is on Espn classic then it will reair on espn2

Unlike the Sprint Cup banquet as far as I know, both the Nationwide & Truck Series banquets are tape delayed.

The Truck banquet is tonight, but the SPEED Channel usually doesn't show it until around December 7th. Check around that date to see it, I will!

I have no clue about Nationwide however if anyone wants to know about that Series' banquet...

If ABC bumped race coverage from to ESPN 2 the banquet should probably air on ESPN 360. Race ratings are down, who is going to watch a bunch of people who just stuffed their face collect a trophy? This will be more boring than poker on TV

The REAL fans and those that are loyal to the sport - the same ones that followed the cup race from ABC to ESPN2 - Personally, I have never found the banquets to be boring - but, then we're all entitled to our opinion.

THANK YOU for finding that out about when it will be on SPEED. I only looked at Fridays and Saturdays. Wouldn't ya know it was three different days!
