Timothy had an awesome truck all day, and was running extremely well, doing his part to have a career run, but unfortunately, Jon Wood didn't do his, because he's just a moron who is living off of his last name.

Seriously, Wood is living proof that you don't have to have talent to race in the sport any more, you just have to have money and a last name. It's unfortunate because this is the only truck he bought, according to this forum, and it's not wrecked and not any good, because Jon Wood is a moron living off of his last name.

I hope Timothy "had a word" with him after the race, and that they got everything worked out.

I did mean "wrecked", not "not wrecked". It still would have been better if Wood didn't wreck him, but I'll be pissed if he can't run any more races because of this wreck. I just hope you're right, bigpetersfan.

I just want to say how proud we are of Timothy! He really gave it his all this weekend and even though his finish wasn't what he wanted he showed everyone that he CAN drive and he has heart! I pray that someone who is SOMEONE will see that and give him another chance. After seeing the truck first hand....I have to tell you, the good Lord was watching over him saturday. That bad boy was crushed! Something good has to come from all of this.

The splitter's torn up and they need a new hood. Other than that, everything seems fine. But then again, I don't work for the team so I don't know. I just hopes he gets another opportunity.

It can be frustrating being a fan of his, because unlike most drivers (or sports in general), there's no information about him out there (no website, no sponsor mention, no team website, etc), and he doesn't have job security. This may be his last race he ever runs in the sport, and we'll never know about it. I'm not gonna give up on him, though, I know he's a great driver, but it can be frustrating, I'll say that.

it won't be his last race...from reading the articles this past weekend I think he's running all the short tracks.

I wonder if he'll take over the #46 truck now that Scott Speed is going to BDR.

Personally, I hope he keeps the #47, because he gets a guaranteed late qualifying draw (which is usually better), and there aren't enough teams to fill the 36-truck field, which means there isn't any risk of missing the show.

I've been looking through the schedule, and while I hope he gets to run a full season, I really hope he runs these races:

May 30 AAA Insurance 200 Dover International Speedway
Jun 20 Milwaukee 200 Milwaukee Mile
Jun 28 O'Reilly 200 Memphis Motorsports Park

I think he'll run all those but dover and nashville...but thats all speculation.

I hope he runs Nashville, as that's been his best track, but that truck (especially since it's been damaged) may not be competitive at Nashville, since it's a superspeedway, which relies on equipment.

Well, after reading the PR on truckseries.com , it said the truck had "irreparable damage".

I wouldn't take that specific wording from the article as a death blow. I interpret the column to mean they were irrepairable damages to continue competing for spots in that race.
