I'm not sure they can see anything except intense hatred for MWR. Mabe Mikey could hire these two to give his teams some constructive criticism. They have all the knowledge to run the team right down to the finest detail. What do you think, could WallTripp Inc. run Mikeys Team? I'll bet they could turn it around in less than 3 races.

They could be named huey, dewy and louie. It would be fun to watch and would cut down on all this seriousness some are so concerned about.

Doctor Dave is in the house Banger Budds and I would like to wish all of you a Happy Victoria Day weekend. I will be traveling home this afternoon and should be back this evening. I think a little group therapy/anger venting later this evening might be healthy. That is unless you MWR fans are busy celebrating the fact that MW did not hit a wall, or blow an engine.

Is Mikee a better driver than Kyle Petty? I don't think so, but that is my opinion. Kyle has won twice the races Mikee has - Heck, if I had a race team, I think I would try something else if my driver only one once every 200 races.

Dave---I'll have you know----today at Toledo, I sang proudly a good chorus of Oh-Canada, once again! It is always sung at both Toledo and MIS, as there was even a car entered from ON--the #30 Dodge, driven by Terry Jones, from Amherstburg ON, which is on the Detroit River shores, not too far from Windsor ON!

It maybe time for Mikey to pack it in before all his sponsors bail on him and MWR goes belly up. I hope the execs at NAPA make better decisons concerning their auto parts business, then who they sponsor in NASCAR. The owner of the team is a poor role model (drinking, drunken driving, whoring, stealing, lying, and abusing his wife). MWR cars aren't competitive, NAPA should find a new team to back before they start losing customers.

Agreed!

CRAPA needs to put that logo on the #28 and watch it finish at the front of the pack, instead of at the rear, just like Saturday evening.

Hell-even Chad McCumbee beat that Jap-junker that JAPA-CRAPA #55, driven by POS!

I hope when Dave gets back from his trip to Concord, since we know he is a Dr.(PhD) in Psychology, I think we need to get him to work with our Banger-Bud-----"The-G-Man ".
"G", since he has returned as some real aggression and rage-"issues", towards some of our members (Banger-Buds!).
Instead of lashing-out--calling people liars and shit like that----maybe Dr. Dave can work as does one of his associated---Dr. Phil-----and get "G-Man" to deal with his frustrations and aggressive behavior; so, he can vent his frustrations in a less aggressive manner.
I, being a trained, certified, teacher (retired from public school), with a Masters Degree, even though I have been through several psychology courses for my education-degree-----I do not feel qualified, in the presence of one with a PhD, like Dave.
I'll go on record----let's get a thread going, when Dave gets back-----and we will urge him to use his skills and training to help both Renee and "G-Man" better deal with all of our friends, the Banger-Buds!
I know a lot of this aggression stems from POS's lack of success in 2007-08. We all saw what happens when POS can not control himself on the track---JAPCAR set his ass out for the rest of the race. It is my "professional" opinion, POS's loss of self-control has filtered over to some of his so-called-fans, also. We are all seeing it manifest by a couple of "aggressive" Banger-Buds!
What do you think, Dill? Think Dave can help these couple of out-of-control Banger-Buds?
I think Dave could. Let's have him give it a try, shall we?

Dave sounds like just the kind of guy, to get Renee and that "G-Man" mellowed and under control, with the other Banger-Buds around here, who don't do all of this name-calling and personal-attacks against others posting around here.

Still in recovery from all that laughing Saturday night and the big trip to T-Town for that ARCA gig!

Feeling pretty good, tonight, after all of your great reports from Lowe's. Did you get any burgers at Five Guys, just down the road from Lowes?

Oh, just wanted you to know, I sang the crap out of "Oh-Canada", which we all sing, along with "The Star Spangled Banner", at Toledo Speedway for the start of the wet & cold ARCA race.

A good Internet-friend of mine, which I met on the old Banger-Board on JAPCAR and I are planning on meeting-up over Labor Day at the ARCA Duquoin IL Fair Race. He said that track is a flat, horse race track and it takes some supurb power-sliding to get around that joint. Needless to say---Schrader dominates on that track!

I can not wait!

You need to motor that motorhome over to Eldora for a World of Outlaws show and I'll bring my son, Jay, along. He has an undergrad psych degree; but, I was never able to get him to go on, which we all know IS essential. He was not into clinical at all----he was more into human factors engineering or vision science. He has a strong math-science (lots of physics, chem, bio, calculus) extra in his BA degree in psychology. Graduated with honors, also!

He is working his way into the banking business, which he seems happy with, currently.

He wisely chose not to go into music, like his ol' man!

Glad to see that you are safely back.

Both my son and I spent time in St. Catherine's at your local Boy Scouts of America camp. Years ago, when my son was a Scout, we took the troop to Niagra Falls and stayed about three nights at the BSA Camp on the Canadian-side. I am an avid boat-watcher and really dug the locks at Thrould (sp?).

Beautiful area!----say the word and we can get together at Eldora or maybe over in W. PA. Great racing over there for the Outlaws and PA Possee dirt guys! Always have to watch some dirt shows every summer. USAC non-winged, NRA Sprint invaders (305 &360 winged) and of course the Outlaws.

I would love to see some of these F-1 and other paved guys---try to run a couple of laps at Eldora with Steve Kinser or Sammy Swindell right on their sorry-asses! That would prove interesting!

You know I greatly respect all of the JAPCAR guys who came up through USAC or WoO, as I know they can power-slide through a corner and do a REAL slide-job----not this pussy move they call a slide-job on a paved-track----Give me a break, Dave!

Holy sh., Wallbanger, the Everglades are buring so badly that we can smell smoke indoors. We have the windows and all closed up with the air on, and you can smell it. Your eyes burn when you go outdoors. The afternoon rain did not help much. I believe these fires are a continuation of the ones they think were started intentionally.
Bozo must be smelling it now.

Last night DW mentioned he was watching the owner standings closely (when lil Mikee was outside the top 35). He got lucky that it became a fuel mileage race and is back in by 3 points.
How much longer will NAPA and others stand by him? Obviously things are different, Buffy is gone, and is isn't getting the interviews he used to. I do predict he will get his 4th top 25 soon, but it won't be enough to keep him ahead of the 77.

Dopey Mikey is Joe Gibbs best friend. Toyota now realizes that throwing money at MWR is not going to improve that three ring circus. Gibbs will be the benefactor.

I read your guys comments all the time. make me laugh. Ive been a mikey fan forever. but folks, I think he should hang it up and be a team owner, get a good driver, better yet just run two cars. Its getting to the point when I wish he finishes on the lead lap. thats sad. let me enjoy racing again. I feel like i still have to root for him. but its like dreaming about winning the lottery.ruterman is sure to find a good ride soon and we will have no hope at all.All I read about on his website is that there proud to finish two laps down because of a loose or whatever car. Is this all a bad dream

Richie, what do you think of this idea: let the third team go. What I mean by that is let McDowell (the kid with all the teeth) go.

When DJ was still there, I used to listen to Shawn, Reuti's spotter and Shawn would let David know where the others were. He talked like a Walnut. "Mikey's 2 car-lengths behind, DJ right behind him." Then David would say something like, "Nevermind me, we gotta get DJ in the Daytona or we gotta help Mikey." The guys were all on the same page. If I flipped on over to somebody else, I would hear, "but he is my teammate and he won't help me, boo hoo." I think you may have a idea of who it might be.

Never will you hear this from the fellas with Michael. However, you are definitely thinking ahead and what you say also makes sense.

Rumor had it that Reuti's phone rang off the hook at the end of last season. It was rumored Childress called and another rumor started that even Teresa did. David cannot stay with MWR if things do not change...quickly.

I would love for Kyle Busch to let Reuti take his #18 out for a little spin. See what David can do with it.

I think last year, when Michael talked about not driving anymore, the die-hard Waltrip fans who have been following Michael's career a hell of a lot longer that I have (I am the new kid, 2 years, Roush girl gone bad) panicked thinking Michael would not drive.

Remember, how convenient it was when we had our first Daytona "rocket fuel" disaster? Lucky our driver was also our owner!

I believe the hardest job in the world has to be the person who writes the race summary for each of the MWR's drivers. For example, this week MW's article said that MW got his 3rd top 25 of the year. No mention that his top 25 are (23rd twice and 24 once). No mention that he has finished on the lead lap on 2 times this year (Daytona and Talladega). No mention that he is only beating 2 drivers (both rookies) of all the drivers that have ran all 11 races. And by the way, he is in danger of losing to the 2 rookies he's beating.
Just outside of the top 25 again !!

Who writes this crap---POS?

But this one takes the cake...

Michael Waltrip is considered to be an icon in the Na$car world
