NASCAR: Petty Trying To Figure Things Out

Petty Enterprises will use three different drivers in the Number 45 Dodge over the next three races as it continues to evaluate the slumping team.

Well Terry will get in the show due to using his championship status. Kyle and Chat will be very lucky if they make the field.

This week's race only has 44 entries so the chances are pretty good that Chad will make it. I hope so anyway. With all the history that the Petty's bring to NASCAR I just hate to see them left out. Same goes for the 21.

Kyle and Richard have one major physical feature that is exactly the same, their hard head. Richard should have retired in 1984 and Kyle should immediately. Richard ran the team for eight years struggling to do things the same way they always had and the rest of NASCAR was bringing in engineers, shock specialists, and seven post shakers. Kyle ran out of competitive talent about 1995 so the whole operation has been going down hill for a long time. I love them both dearly but enough is enough. There is a saying in the Army that goes "lead, follow or get the hell out of the way". It's time Kyle, get the hell out of the way.

I am still a fan of Kyle Petty and always will be.
I still think he has it in him to have a good season. He is a GREAT announcer but I would still like to see him race. I hope he gives it another go before he decides to quit.

I'm with you. I like KP too and would love for him to see him stay in the car for a bit longer. I also enjoy his announcing.
