I tell you what, i think Truex was a real class act and quick to correct all those who interviewed him on the reality of the situation at EGR. Many of those who interviewed him tried to say that this merger was going to be great as he sat on the pole, and he said that he would enjoy today, but that it's still a long season and the results will show that. I still believe you'll see him in a fourth Gibbs car next year maybe sponsored by Napa, or at Stewart Haas Racing with Bass Pro Shops, but i think that next year it'll be the #4 Bass Pro Chevy at Stewart Haas with either Truex, Harvick, or Mark Martin and Brad Keselowski splitting that ride with Truex at Hendrick in the 5 car full time.

I agree with CJR. I think that Truex will be Tony's third team next year. I am so happy for him and Bono. He is such a nice guy. I would like to see him have a decent year.

I think Truex being a 3rd car for SHR is a little bit of a stretch, but I sure am happy for his Daytona 500 pole. We may be seeing the former DEI cars, now including JPM, showing some dominence at the plate tracks. That would be awesome. Watched Ganassi being interviewed by DW and he sure seems psyched about the merger. Hoping nothing but good things for these three teams...
