Does'nt that sound Good? It could possibly happen if they hear from enough of us! Coors contract is up with Ganassi at the end of this year. If Sterling had a sponser like Coors, he could drive for almost anyone he wanted. Sterlin wants a part time thing, how cool would it be if Coors were to step up, be the hero here, with Sterling, paired with a young gun (appealing to both demographics, young & old)to give Sterling the send off to retirement farewell tour He deserves!!!

I miss Sterling to death! I was at Pocono yesterday and could not get into the race without seeing Sterling going around! I proudly wore a Sterling Shirt with "WM" and the #14 blacked out!! NASCAR is going to lose alot of loyal fans if they keep allowing this type of stuff to continue! NASCAR was all about Loyalty thru the years and that seems to be a thing of the past! Fans are LOYAL and we expect Teams and Sponsors to be as well. We are loyal when it comes to our retail purchases and we can sink a company just a quick as Ginn sunk Sterling...they should remember where the green in thier pockets come from...from the FANS!!!!

I am a diehard Sterling Marlin fan. I drink Coors light because the coolest car ever, is the Silver Bullet when it is driven by Sterling Marlin. I need to say that I have been drinking heavily since Sterling was shafted by that horse theif, deal breaking, double dealing slime of the earth Bobby Ginn. This is the best news I have heard. Lets not just run a limited schedule lets run a full season for 1 more year and then turn the reins over to Stedman. Sterling Marlin fan Raleigh, NC

Aren't we forgetful of how coor's light treated Sterling Marlin? Didn't we quit drinking Coor's Light in favor of adding Waste Management to our list of vendors we choose to do business with? Yes, we are very forgiving especially when our backs are aginn the wall. My hope: Sterling Marlin to full-time with RCR and a run for the title in 08!

We don't necessarily forget the bad...but we're hopeful by nature.
Sterling was shafted by Chip Ganassi...not Coors. Although Chip's very masterful spin made it seem like Coors was to blame. To this day, I'm thankful SCENE didn't print my letter to Coors, but I did boycott them [my 12-pack a month really hurt them, I'm sure!]. I switched to Busch, and found that I actually like it better than my old Coors Original fave. And all of us in the fan club have uttered every single epithet we could possibly get away with regarding Booby G***. What he did to Sterling & Joe, though, is nothing compared to what he did to those 120 poor young families who had thought they'd found the job of their dreams.
Sterling will be back...this year. I understand his contract dispute...not the money owed...has been settled, and he's free to take whatever ride he likes, when he likes, without negating his contract. I'm praying he will do exactly that within the next few weeks!
By the way, for those who didn't know, Coors was the very first to call Sterling and offer their condolences when he was kicked to the curb and left to fend for himself. No spin, there. That came straight from Sterling.

A Coors employee stated, that if we want Sterling, WE NEED TO LET THEM KNOW in a BIG way. They do listen to their consumers! if enough people contact them, they may be swayed

and the details of the contract.

We appreciate your comments, and they will be forwarded to our

Sterling said he only wanted to race part time after this year anyway, so there won't be any race for a title. Heck, he'd be lucky to get with a team that will give him a car that can finish 30th each week, which is what Ginn gave him: a car that got more DNF's than top 10's. Heck, he didn't get a top 10 all year. The only reason I started watching NASCAR was because I met Sterling when I lived in Daytona and he had the longest non-winning streak going. He and his team rented all the condos available on our floor, and wouldn't you know that would be the year he won the 500 for the first time? We loved those guys, the Kodak No. 4 team, and Sterling was absolutely the best. I wish he had never left that team.
