Blinky blew it this weekend.

US Fidelis had 1500 employees at the track. They sponsored 2 cars. neither finished the race.

Not only did Blinky get caught up in a wreck, but he then fell out of line under caution to cause a little shenanigans with the other car. Then allegedly gave an inappropriate had gesture to another driver. HEY DUMBASS! your sponsors paid a little extra this week so that they could get a camera inside your ride. They saw the whole thing and so did your pissed off dad.

Was cool that Kyle won though.

Rusty wouldn't even comment on what happened.

Blinky sucks./

You make fun of Steven but do you know that that young man has Turrets Syndrom? Prolly not, to make fun of anyone who has a disability is so very wrong. I hope one day you dont have a child who isnt"perfect" and I hope no makes fun of them.

AMEN to above poster Spine. Rusty bad mouths Kyle every chance he gets. As an announcer, he really needs to keep his comments to himself, concerning any driver,. He comments toooooooooo much & tells his opinions. can you imagine what he would have said if Kyle has reacted as his son did? I was laughing . Steve has his Dads, arrogant ways & temper. I was really happy that Kyle won. He is one person that truly loves to race.

Well Rusty is talking of
moving up to Sprint Cup. They need to win something in the nationwide races before getting
in the way of the real racers. Steven has to
much temper for his own good. I hope he enjoyed his trip to the dog house for a butt chewing after the race.

Wait. That excuses bad behavior. If he has it under control, which I would assume he does as he drives a freaking race car, then he has absolutely no excuse to be out of line.

Just because you have a disability it doesn't exempt you from behaving properly.

If you open yourself up to criticism because you behave badly you're going to be made fun of, regardless of disability or not. You wouldn't know he had Turrets unless someone pointed it out. So don't go pitying the kid when he probably doesn't want your pity in the first place.

If he wants to be treated normal and do normal things then he can be made fun of like a normal person.

Why is it every time I watch Steven race I think of Tony's comment of "you can't fix stupid"?

I sort of took the making fun of a person with a disability in referring to him as Blinky and not his actions.

oh yeah, I'm making fun of the blinking. I don't give a sh!t how people feel about it.

Blinky blinks then they need US Fidelis to fix the car.

I can make fun of a driver however I like. Have you people ever seen how the redneck jerks (JR Nation) talk about Kyle?

Being a drivers son alone affords to you the opportunity to race. Blinky is racing because of who his dad is. Hmm, who else does that sound like?

Calling someone names because of a medical issue is over the top, but certainly one has a right to do it. I'll agree though that Steven probably wouldn't be in a race car if it weren't for his father. He is subject to more critizim because of that. Rusty comes across as somewhat arragont but I had the opportunity of talking with him for 15 or 20 min when I was somewhere I shouldn't have been and he felt pretty comfortable hanging out for awhile. He was very congenial.

I thought it was a nick name. What if Blinky has to do with his babyish attitude? I don't know. I mean we were discussing him reacting like a baby to wrecking, right?

OHHHH is blinking his tick?

Ok now I get it.

See I don't really think that much in to it. That and I have a three year old niece so maybe I just automatically go there.

I didnt say it excuses him from acting like a fool. I was commenting on how that person was making fun of someone with a disability.

All the what ifs in the world doesn't matter. The person clearly stated Blinky referred to his tourette syndrome. What would Blinky have to do with someone wrecking or a babyish attitude? Apparently you are alone on that one.

I really doubt blinking is what is causing him to wreck. The boy is an idiot that has caused more wrecks in his short career than twelve drivers combined. The reason he is wrecking is because he is in over his head and wouldn't be in a car without his daddy financing it. The blinking he can't control but the idiot part he can.

I don't pay enough attention to know what his tick is.

So it didn't dawn on me that that was the point.

And frankly I just thought it was a nickname.

Like I said, if you choose to be an idiot you open yourself up to people being mean to you even if you have a disability. It doesn't exempt people from doing it.

I get a kick out of it honestly. People run around calling other drivers POS and that's ok. Why? Because they don't have a disability. He's special because he has a tick. I'm sorry. That makes no sense to me.
