What a class act JR is! I've noticed that he's never been one to talk trash about people even when the trash is true.
No he didn't win a race in '07 but he ends the year a big winner because he is a true blue gentleman even amidst all the chaos and drama.
KUDOS to you, JR! You're a real sportsman!

Even after the last race when he said,

"quit having to deal with jerks"

Wow what a sportsman. My hero. NOT!

Yea Jr did make a comment about dealing with Jerks, but look who he was working for, Jr kept his composer through the whole season and kept his mouth shut till the end, that is a lot more than people can say for some other drivers. So even though Jr called some one a jerk i still have to say he showed a lot of class.

I think you're absolutely right Keith. Jr. may have gotten hot with the team a couple of times about screw ups with the car but he's never been one to bad mouth others. I've heard him take the blame a lot of times when he wasn't the one at fault. Without the stress of having to deal with the problems of DEI I'm hoping this will be his break-out year in 08.

We're (HMS fans) happy to have him on board, well many of us anyhow. I think that there will be dividends paid both ways with this new relationship with Hendrick. I think in the long run, a happy racer makes a better racer and Junior just wasn't happy at DEI anymore. He will shine like a diamond in 08, I am willing to bet on it. Confidence and great equipment along with talent make for a winning combination. I think he will have all the elements he needs now. Good Luck Junior!

That's how I feel he may not be my favorite driver but I think as a person he's a good guy. Next year I hope he proves he can win and does, now not all the races but 1 or 2! I want JPM to win them all instead, he he.

He didn't name any names and he was telling the truth!
Can you give me an example of where he publicly bashed someone calling them by name?

JR "Said Kyle B was being a jerk" in a interview which was public. That is the only thing he said. No big deal.

"what series was this clown following?

I may be a clown but at least I know what I'm talking about!

First you say he is a "class act" and "never been one to talk trash about people "

I show you that is not the truth.

Then you say "JR "Said Kyle B was being a jerk" in a interview which was public. That is the only thing he said. No big deal."

Make up your minds, you can't have it both ways.

First of all, I did not say that JR is a class act. Second, I did not say he didn't talk trash about people. If you read my post again, you will see that I was informing BK2A as to what JR said, which is something she probaly didn't know. Therefore, I think you are the one that needs to get the facts right. Were you afraid to use Kyle's name? As you can see in my post I used it, I wasn't afraid.

Teresa started it with her "does Jr want to be a celebrity or driver" comment. Jr showed an incredible amount of restraint and class throughout the year and his negotiations with Max Seigel/DEI.

He's human and was pretty beat down by that last race, I thought the "jerks" comment was pretty mild versus what Teresa deserved for him to say about her.

He even came out to the press and requested that people stop trashing his "daddy's wife" when it got really bad.

For those of you that don't think he's shown restraint and class...well, you're wrong.

Imagine Tony Stewart in a similar sutuation. I actually like him as a driver, but you know what would totally hit the fan if his owner made a crappy comment like Teresa did, it would be a media smack-down like you've never seen. C'mon!

Well.....sorry, but Kyle Busch is a jerk and has alot of growing up to do.

Thank God Jr was there to cover his sorry AZZ and finish a race for him when Busch left the track in a huff 'cuz things weren't going his way that day. Jr didn't have to, he did it to help out a team that wasn't even his at the time. Classy move buy a classy guy.

I think Kyle Busch is in survivor mode which makes him a pompous jacka--! But when Jr. says something you know that the dude is out of control! Because Jrs a nice guy!
