"The two teenagers currently are in what's called Busch East, a late-model series."

Busch East does not run late models, it runs cars very similar to those in the NASCAR Busch Series with very few changes (no roof flaps, and the option to run a one-piece composite body). Many East Series teams buy bodies, mechanical equipment, and even whole cars from Busch Series operations over the winter months.
