Marty Reid is horrible -- he knew almost nothing about the Indianapolis 500 last year, and although the 500 is not the only race he has to call, one would think he would know the race the league is named after very well beforehand.

I always thought Bob Jenkins was really good, personally -- a local guy with a good sense of hummor and who knows what he is talking about without sounding pretentious like Paul Page did. Opinion of course.

I think Marty Reid does a fine job, but what in the world ever happened to Paul Page? He's the voice of openwheel racing.

Also, Indycar needs to do everything it possibly can to differentiate itself from stock car racing...so why, in the wide, wide world of sports are they bringing back Mr. "Greatest Daytona 500 Ever," Rusty Wallace? 90% of NASCAR fans will tune in to the Indy 500 anyway. What's the net gain in putting him in the booth? It only further confuses the casual fan about the difference between Indycar and NASCAR racing.

BIG MISTAKE! Rusty, God love ya, but please go home!

Paul Page does NHRA broadcasts now.

He also does the announcing for the Winter X Games for the snow mobile racers.

I'm kind of a fence sitter on the old Tony George/ Andrew Craig thing...but that's funny, colorful stuff!

Rusty is the perect switch.
Marty Reid is just the willing third to be the meat in a brown-noser sandwich whenever Barnhart calls a phantom yellow to give himself time to break one off.
