It will be interesting to see how the jury responds to the case and the decision they come back with. Yes, racism still exists, despite what a lot of people would like to think and people who live in and work in Greenwich at not immune from it. Just because no outright racist comments or insults are made directly at someone, does not mean that discriminatory practices were not in play.
Based upon the information given in previous articles, it would be very hard to justify that 34 other officers were promoted around these officers and none were given an opportunity to work on higher paying assignments. This seems very stranger to me, so I want to see the facts laided out and analized so that a logical conclusion can be made with emotions or excuses.
Let's see how this plays out!
