Yeah, Goast Rider!!!

Mark Miller (Volkswagen) is racing as an American, so are Jonah Street and Steve LaRoza, on motorcycles. Jonah finished 5th in the First Stage.

As far as Robby being the only American; he surely is representative of the U.S. because he is the only NASCAR regular to compete!

It's OK Chick, and you are correct... If Bob would get out of the "Big City" and get his hands dirty once and awhile, he would feel a bit better about himself.

You're the loser without a clue! Robby Gordon is a hell of a driver but you wouldn't know anything about that would you now?

I once was running a 10 km race, and as we went Yby, some people told us: "you're losing, you're losing!" I shot back with: "At least I'm in the race!" and the crowd went crazy with laughter.

Bob, I think you drinking too much alcohol. Santa was probably not too generous with you either. Anyone with such an angry disposition is miserable and disgusting...

Put down the bottle, get up and take a walk, then look for a job after you go to an A.A. Meeting.

You'll feel better about yourself... You're not even in the race - Big City Loser!

As a Topix Editor, I clearly state there should be no "name-calling".

Robby Gordon is not a loser, so I suppose I'm just doing my job....

So just what are your rules? Someone can call Robby Gordon a loser but I can't call them an idiot for them calling him one? Just where do you authority figures draw your line on these threads? Does it depend on where you stand on a subject?

CJW:

You had every right to refer to "BCB" as an "idiot"...

You see, it all depends on the "truth"; Robby Gordon is not a loser, and Big City Bob - as you accurately referred to him - is an "idiot" for calling him one without his providing any foundation.

I don't understand your questions, however, I certainly hope you do not see me as an "authority figure"....

We are trying to keep the threads from becoming "dumping grounds" for folks like Big City Bob, who come in and waste time and space and attempt to incite acrymony. Am I partial to Robby Gordon?

Absolutely! He is young - by today's standards - and running his own show. He represents NASCAR well by being a driver who's very loyal to the fans. He represents the United States admirably in Mexico, and now in Chile and Argentina.

Yep! Robby Gordon is quite an exciting young man.

As always, thank you for your comments.

All this is fine as long as you don't let your partiality influence your authority over whose posts get tossed and whose don't. These threads need Big city Bobs as much as anyone else. Actually I don't feel editors should be able to post on here and when they do toss a post let people know when it is done and why. I've seen many posts just up and disappear, mine and others. Ruffling feathers is part of all this and editors should be honest enough to show when and why a post has been removed.
