If it was not for his father what would he have because he would have nothing right now if it depended on accomplishments he would be like any other driver out there looking for a ride

Based on yesterdays Colts score it looks as if the whole team is out because of a concussion..........

You don't mess with terrible headaches and concussions. Dale came here to Pittsburgh to consult with the same doctors at UPMC that handled Crosby's concussions. This is the same doctor that many sports figures come to see with concussions. If you've never had a concussion headache, you have no room to bitch about Dale Jr. They can ruin your vision, and if that's the problem, can you imagine what a danger he'd be to the rest of the drivers? I give Dale props for recognizing that his concussion could pose a danger to others. And as for him quitting, that's BS. Why would any driver do that knowing that he could win races. If that were true, Kenseth could pull a concussion and quit. But no, he just went out and won a race, despite the fact that he has no chance of winning the championship.

Even without a concussion, Dale Jr is a danger to the rest of the drivers. Thing is, the tests show nothing, it's just Jr saying he has a headache right after he took a dive in the points and lost any chance at the championship. Given his whiney past, it's not a stretch to believe this is just a ploy to save face because he bombed on the championship...AGAIN. His wreck at Talladega wasn't bad enough to cause a concussion, the car was hardly scratched.

His wreck at Talladega wasn't bad enough to cause a concussion, the car was hardly scratched. A regular MRI or CT scan doesn't show concussions---concussions are considered an invisible injury. The only thing a CT or MRI shows would be visible things like hematoma. A physician will give a person a number of tests such as memory, strength, hearing, vision, balance, coordination and reflexes. There are baseline patterns they follow in order to determine if those things are diminished. While some doctors will routinely order an MRI or CT scan, you can bet your savings it's more for their bottom line than for it's diagnostic abilities. Did you know that even figure skaters can get concussions from their repeated spins? You don't need to take a hard hit to damage your brain. The brain is very delicate and just shaking the brain roughly can damage it. Why do you think shaken baby syndrome is so dangerous?
