I hope NASCAR switches to a different tire manufacturer next year, Goodyears suck

I'm not so sure that it was Goodyear's fault this time. As I understand it, several of the teams had too much air pressure in the tires for more grip.
Big-14...can you rule on this one?

That would cause the problem, but alot of the teams reported they did not have more air presure then recommended. think they said 50 to 52 PSI for the right sided was recommended for this race. If they did have more air presure then what was said and the heat came up on the tires its possible that the tire just was stressed because when they get hot pressure goes up as well and it could lead to blow out.
Goodyear is contracted till 2010, and its reported the BF goodwrench is looking into a bid as well as firestone to become NASCAR tire provider. But that is way out.
The one case they said was clearly a cut tire was the #44. All the other just kind of blow up, and they are still looking into it. But I think the teams would know about to much pressure risk the chance of tires failure.
