Coming in second isn't that bad. And, I am sick and tired of all this shyt about Tony's weight. People like you who probably weigh over 300 pounds are the ones quick to point out his weight. Go take a hike; maybe you'll lose some of your blubber.

I agree wholeheartedly --- the weight comments are intentionally mean-spirited and not necessary.

At any rate, Stewart is not the only racer who is solidly built, and certainly not the only person built that way.

The guys on NASCAR Now today were extremely complimentary of Tony. They were praising him for racing Kasey clean, and almost made it sound like he LET Kasey win.

Stewart does not give wins away! Stewart does not give compliments if they are not earned. I have never seen him give Harvick, Jr or any one else so why would he give Kahne the win? Kahne earned that win & deserves the praise for running a flawless race!

kasey and Tony are good friends and respect each other. They race each other clean because of that. I had no worries about Tony trying to wreck Kasey during the race. Montoya or Ambrose on the other hand....

Look people give me a freakin' break. I didn't say Kasey didn't deserve to win. I didn't say Tony gave it to him. I was just giving my interpretation of what the NASCAR Now guys were saying. Gee!!!

I don't think they were implying that he let Kasey win, they were saying it outright, and many agree with them, including me. The Chase promotes boring racing by not allowing more reward for winning a race. Don't you all believe that if winning a race meant more in terms of a Championship, that Tony would have played follow the leader with Kasey? No freakin' way. If you needed to have a certain amount of "win" points to make the Chase, every driver would be racing their azzes off to win and there would be none of this boring racing. Hell, even Montoya admitted he was points racing so he could make the top 12. When will Nascar wake up and realize that this boring points racing is the reason why attendance and TV viewership is dropping by double digits every week.

Troll, some of these people don't understand racing. Tony played follow the leader because he saw all the wrecks behind him. He wants to keep first place as along as possible, so he's not going to race anyone hard, especially on a slippery road course. Tony knows he has a small lead in the points and doesn't want to screw it up. Hell, even Jimmie and Jeff Gordon have said numerous times that they aren't racing as hard as they could have because they don't want to mess up their place in the Chase or their points lead. Tony is not stupid and he's not going to race stupid and take the chance of wrecking and ending up 30th. He's a smart racer and will accept 2nd place if it means that he's not going to lose valuable points.

Oh,and BTW, Troll is also backed up by Chad Knauss who said the front runners were taking it easy and points racing so as not to screw up and lose points.

I don't think Tony let Kasey win, though. Kasey had the faster car. Kasey had the better car. I do agree about guys points racing, but in this case, I don't think Tony "hung back" and "let him win".

I'm just tired of people always finding something wrong with all of Kasey's wins, especially the media. He didn't deserve to win the All-Star race, the only reason he won the 600 last year was because Tony's tire went (while that may be true, Kasey was dominant the whole race). Tony let Kasey win at Sonoma. Give me a freakin' break. As a Kasey fan, it's really frustrating to hear about it every single time he gets into VL.

Seriously, every time he wins I have my celebration, and then sit back and say "now what will they find wrong with it this time". I'm tired of it.

Chad also pretty much said Kasey had the car to beat, though. He said he knew it ever since Happy Hour ended on Saturday, that he was bad fast.
