And, they pay them millions to get RID of them. Something just isn't right in those golden parachutes.
Yea no sh#t talk about being f'd up. Hell I could go into any company and for the first few quarters or so and show a major improvement by cutting out empolyee's and overhead. Show them a wonderful bottom line then you leave get a big signing bonus from another company by saying look what I did while the first company I was with falls off in production and loses their a$$.Gezzzzz and those are some of the honest ones. Don't even want to talk about Enron!

Exactly. Well put.
We can complain all day long that it is because of tariffs, and the cheap labor. But the truth is, Company heads are greedy. They keep getting all these big incentives and bonuses. And the men and women who do all the work, get nothing.
It is the companies themselves that have done this to our workforce.
That may be true but the CEOs are where they are because they took chances and didn't stop to complain. The great thing about living in America is that we can change our own destiny and make opportunities.

Maybe if American Auto Makers started putting out a product ANYWHERE close to what Honda and Toyota is, the wouldn't be is such a mess. Just sayin.

07 Toyota Corolla, Traded a 06 Trailblazer for it. The blazer was junk off the production line.

In my life, I've had a Mercury that died after 100K miles, a Honda CRX that lasted over 200K miles and still ran after driving it hard and forgetting to change the oil for 50K miles, a Honda Accord that lasted almost 300K miles before trading it in, a Toyota Camry that lasted only 100K before I traded it in for another Honda Accord that runs great.

My union father was so mad at me when I bought my first Honda that I thought he would disown me. I let him drive it, then he stopped being mad. He could see that they held up well under my abuse. He still drives Chevys but now he lets me park in the drive way at their house again.:)

Hmmmm Automotive News this week Toyota to buy back thousands of their truck for frame failures. The years that are included are 1995 all the way through 2000. Toyota has class action lawsuits for not covering thousands of sludged motors under warranty. The new Toyota Tundra truck motor has major camshaft failures. Toyota wasn't covering their Van doors falling off under warranty being forced to now. Toyota busted for not paying taxes in countries they have plants in and funneling profits back to Japan. It's all easy to check out. Start reading automotive news people.
