Why did you post this? It has nothing at all to do with this thread.

<quoted text>You race Tony clean,he'll race you clean and Kasey did that. There was no reason for Tony to get "ugly" and take him out. That was some pretty good racing.
I didn't imply that Tony wasn't a clean racer.

<quoted text>Hi Snow how have you been. He was against beer because he promised his Mother he would not run beer on his cars. She was very religious and she really didn't approve off them racing. He is not as inocent as people think he is but as far as I know he does not drink liquor.
Hi nannie good to see you. He may not drink beer but he took a drink of the wine...lol He just looked strange to me in victory lane with a bud car after all the goody
goody stuff he fed us.

I wasn't saying you said anything. I was just going along with what you were saying. That Tony ran a good race and so did Kasey. That when Tony can run with someone like Kasey who races clean he does also and he really enjoys it. Besides Tony said in a post race interview he wished the track was slicker cause he and Kasey love running on dirt and they'd have fun.
Sorry you took it the wrong way.

Never met Richard myself other than to get an autograph at Martinsville. I use to be a mechanic at a shop in Greensboro,NC and my former boss was pretty close with Richard. By close,I mean he could take the afternoon off and just go visit down there. Altough Richard never visited our shop while I was there,Lynda did once as did his Dad. Lee came in one day and I was tuning up a car and he came over and asked "Whatcha doin there buddy?" I said 'just a tune-up.' He look at the engine and said "Damn newfangled cars..." LOL I'll always remember that.
My first husband was a race car driver. He raced at Hickory Motor Speedway and when the Grand Nationals came to town he raced the race right before the the big boys. I met a lot of the drivers and also Lynda Richards wife. Kyle was about 2 years old and running her ragged. He was a handful to keep up with. He had pretty blonde hair and it was growing out. I wonder if that is why he has long hair now. My daughter was four and she has the same birthday as Richard Petty. We had a lot of fun,
