Now that was a good post!
As far as the engine thing, Truex yesterday, parts fail, shit happens.
DEI is providing resources but all R&D, building, etc. is being done at RCR.
OH NO new conspiracy,... RCR is sabotaging Truex!
No conspiracy just an opinion of where the fault may lay. There's only so much that can be put on drivers. So it has to be be with in the shop. Now they just need to find it and fix it.

WHAT DID KB SAY TODAY? I MISSED IT...
He said he thinks it is funny the way JR fans sit down when he passes him. If he focused on driving he might have won the race.

DEI is trying to recover from a few bad years. Jr leaves and so does sponsorship money and merchandise sales. I'm quite certain she's smarting from that lack of revenue. I'm also certain that she has enough money to sponsor the car smith is driving.
She's a good business women and will get the company back to profiting, that's not going to happen overnight though.
MM still has many fans and as long as he's behind the wheel of a race car will bring in revenue. Three of them combined do not bring in the sales revenue that Jr did but she's also not paying them what Jr made, to be sure.
As far as Jr leaving I really feel that this is best for both. Emotions have no place in business. Both of them brought emotions into it.
They both can now focus on the job at hand. His wining and becoming a champion, hers bring DEI into the next faze of nascar and being as competitive as the other race teams.
The engine thing blows(no pun intended) It's my understanding which could be incorrect, that she's running a combo of DEI and RCR engines. They have combined their engine building. If this is the case why are RCR cars not having the same problems? Crew chiefs, car chiefs or specfic engine builders? JMO
Have a great day
Good post there! And a very good question.

That's right. What a big whining baby the shrub is. Let's not forget this time last year when the big baby wrecked and ran away from the car and Jr stepped in and finished the race for Shrub, even got the ungrateful whiner some points last year. What a sore loser Shrub is.<quoted text>
He is a whinner. Needs his diaper changed alot.

I thought you claimed to know so much about racing?
RCR engines this season dufus...
Actually. It has been DEI RCR engines since Talladega last year. They are struggling for a number of reasons. One being the switch from leaded fuel to unleaded. THE on the being the switch from the sb2 block witch was the second generation engine block to the third generation sb2 block. Those are the reasons that they combined engine programs. Neither RCR or DEI had a good grip on the new motor combination.

Dang the 01 is without a sponsor again this week. It will have the DEI logo on the hood again.

I sure don't want DEI to disappear but it's got to be hurting them financially without having all their cars sponsored.

I hope all these teams especially Yates that are running without sponors will be able to come out of this hard times ok.

I agree with you. I still think if DEI gets into trouble, JR will help. Hope he wins soon.

You know... I think you are right. Even though he left the company to help make his dreams come true when it comes down to it DEI is a part of him. I don't believe he would let his father's name become a NASCAR past.

No, he wouldn't let his father's name become a past of Nascar. And I hope he doesn't live in the past. Does that make sense? I think Jr will do great. He can beat the odds.

Don't mean to sound rude but what odds are you referring to?
The odds, as I see it, have been stacked in his favor since joining HMS. It's been up to him since the start of the season to do something with the resources at his disposal.
