This is a pretty darn good analysis of the impact any bankruptcy would have on Nascar. Hendrick has some good things to say.
I think you lose some money, but they are right, teams do not depend solely on manufacturer funds so the risk of NASCAR shutting down is unrealistic. The technology assistance would be the worst part of manufacturers stepping out of NASCAR.
