NASCAR needs to be a little more subtle about how they pick and choose who they penalize. This situation with Earnhardt is a joke. Something similar (but only half as bad)occurred at the Nationwide race on Saturday and they gave the 38 a "5" lap penalty. what the heck is the difference between the two situations? Best I can figure, the big guys up in the box just pick and choose who they want to penalize based on who they are. Jr. gets away with destroying 9 cars while the 38 gets pounded for barely bumping the back fender of someone who had taken out as many cars in the last 3 years as his number states on his car. It's a fu@*ing joke.

Junior was forced under the double yellow due to an overly-aggressive block by Vickers. When he tried to get back in line he clipped Vicker's car. It happens, that's racing. Would you rather he had gotten out of the throttle and been run over by the cars behind him? That would have probably caused an even bigger wreck. And yes, he did get penalized...by a rain-shortened race, because he was on his way back to the front. Mike Helton made the call, they could have finished that race today. They chose the easy way out.

Hey bazzboy, nice pic you have there. Neil Peart is awesome!

This driver cannot even get in his pit box, ends up a lap down, then takes out the top cars in the race...And then as expected he blames the whole thing on Vickers! Knowing the world has watched it over and over, he blames someone else! There's your leader NASCAR fans! If he was just half as good as his daddy I might not be so hard on him, but Jr. couldn't carry his daddy's racing boots.
jr will be as good as his dad and he is pretty damn close to be as his dad as it is
