Watch out! Blind drivers may be coming soon

Full story: www.examiner.com

We've heard of hybrid and electric cars designed to make noise , so that blind pedestrians don't get run over by them, but how about a car designed for blind people to drive it? That's what Virginia Tech and the National Federation for the Blind have come up with.

Sounds dangerous for everyone on the road. It would be great if the drivers were properly trained & the vehicle alerts, etc NEVER broke down. So how's that going to work? Stuff malfunctions all the time. So who will be at fault when a blind driver causes someone to be killed because while they were driving, the vehicle's computer freezes up & they can't receive commands from it? How will they then determine what to do?Scary stuff here.

Hell, they'll probably be safer than beer guzzling, pot smoking, text messaging, illiterate (can't read signs anyway), map reading, GPS reading, road raging, rubber necking, kid smacking, radio surfing, nose picking, ass scratching drivers that are one the roads today...........

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Aquarius

If you're a typical Aquarian you're often quite idealistic and today is no exception. You're wandering around on cloud nine, especially if you're thinking about a very special someone, and indulging in all sorts of deliciously romantic daydreams. Reality? You've no time for it right now, because it will intrude too much on your fantasies.
