Yes when the track itself damages a car by breaking up and tearing up someones car they SHOULD be able to work on it. Its nascars duty to make sure that track is safe for ALL drivers. Gordon was leading the race I remember that and McMurrey did nothing wrong he should have been able to repair his car and put back in the position he was in when the yellow flag came out. Rules are rules but when nascar didnt do its job rules have to have exceptions. That rule should have been at least modified after the Gordon incident.
