I see notta thing wrong in bringing it back. No other # has ever been retired before.
I'm sure Jr. never wanted to take over the car.
And who more than the Grandsonson of the one who pays NASCAR to keep that # 3 than Austin ,or his brother deserves to be there.?
It's called a Family Tradition.

I thought one # was retired years ago...could be wrong though

Agree that no numbers should ever be retired

If Jr. had wanted to drive something with the number 3 on it, Richard Childress would have sold the farm to put that deal together. That would have been a cash cow of epic proportions. But it's never been what Jr. wanted. If Richard wants to field a car with the 3 on it with his grandson driving, more power to him. It's his dime and he has every right to run the car.

A big congratulations to your Blaney boy yesterday. Finished 37th 4 laps down. Now knock on Juniors cage get your driver doing something or shut up. He needs to get off the track and make room for a driver.

It's hard for find time to be on here anymore. I got tired of being "retired" and have gone back into business. Working more now than I ever did but really enjoying it. I had surgery on my knee again a few months back and I can actually jog a little now. I bought a older rollback from the guy I sold out to and have been running steady hauling cars to auction for the local dealers. My wife says she'll divorce me if I buy another truck. I'm gonna miss that gal.

Lol Glad to hear your doing
what makes you happy. I stay busy myself working part time at the race shop.
We are still into NHRA and build cars for some of the drivers. I am so sorry to hear about Tony's accident last night. I guess racing keeps me pretty busy and really happy. You had better forget about that 2nd
truck and hang on to your lady...lol

Tell me something, West Lost in the Woods. How do you get "lost" out of taking home more money yesterday afternoon even though he was involved in a wreck than you'll make this year over there in hillbilly heaven? And the young lady he went home with has something your significant other probably doesn't, all her teeth and she probably isn't his cousin.

Hey Snow, or is it SNOWJOB...wanna bet some of that hard earned money on who has the most career racing wins, Blaney or jr. You can include the CHEATED NASCAR wins for jr in these totals, cause lit'l jr boy hasn't won anything outside of NASCAR. Ya feel lucky??? And by the way, I was broadsided by a drunken earnfardt fan in a beat up chevy pickup with no insurance and lost 3toes, luckily my '83 380SE Mercedes was built like a tank....the guy in the pickup didn't survive. Yes, the only thing I got out of it was losing 3 toes, and losing a damn good car..F U C K the earnhardts!!!
