I am ecstatic at they way a 23 day old team performed at Daytona. I am looking forward to seeing more of Jeremy and the team this year. Let me know if anyone finds a Mayfield T-shirt.

Well, I'm here to say I really didn't think he could pull it off but with really smart strategy and great driving, he did it. I've eaten my crow and it has a crappy taste so here's my best wishes for Jeremy and his team. Hey Mr. Ant, go get that rubbertree plant! You da man!

Watching Jeremy race he way into the 2009 Daytona 500 with his own 23-day old team was one of the most exciting and uplifting racing events I've ever seen. I want a #41 T-shirt, a diecast car, a hat and a bumper sticker!

As many published stories have said, I think the whole event came be summed up with one word, "REDEMPTION!" for Jeremy and all of the out of work guys on his team.

Go Mayfield!

Well, im glad Scott Riggs made the race. I think he has been severely underestimated and i think if he had a shot in Penske, RCR, or Gibbs equipment you'd see a guy that match up to the level of Ryan Newman, Greg Biffle and Kevin Harvick. Riggs has never been in very good equipment and i think is one of the most underrated drivers out there. I feel the same way about Reed Sorenson as well and i hope he dont end down the same road as Riggs does.
As far as Mayfield, i thought he'd make the race and i liked him to do so over alot of other guys, but i just feel that Mayfield has made some poor decisions in the direction of his career. With the way he handled the split between he and Evernham, which i blame Evernham moreso for the way he handled his raceteam so im not siding with Ray, but how Mayfield drug everything thru the media and then taking the new ride at Bill Davis the next season has severely ruined his career. It's good he made the race, but i still dont see a good ending for Mayfield's endevor as a race car owner.
