Why hasn't anyone solved RANDI GORENBERG's murder?

She was the doctors wife from Boca that left the Mall and ended up dead in Delray. On America's Most Wanted!!!

Why aren't they doing anything???

Because they don't have enough evidence. It wasn't easy enough to solve. Give it time.

those numbers dont indicate reality, only the hope of those charged with keeping order. the truth is we can hardly go out anywhere because we are going to be mugged, shot, jacked, etc. crime is way up. the quality of life is way down. you cant go to walmart or publix or the local pizza place without some nasty thugs shooting us.

We want safe streets, but don't want more prisons. We want tougher laws, but do not want more enforcement. We want our freedoms unabridged, but cry havoc when we are victimized by thugs who enjoy those freedoms too.

Can't have it all. Our government keeps a constant flow of third world exploitable, cheap labor flowing into our country to change the sheets in hotels, pick crops and cut our lawns. Instead, many end up in gangs, dealing drugs, committing murders and popping out new gang members like a gumball machine.

It is similar to the Mariel situation. A core group of decent, hard-working law abiding people come here along with thousands of criminals and deviates. Castro got the last laugh there. We are still paying for it.

The time to decide is coming. Vote for the thugs and criminals, vote Democrat and vote often !!!

I didn't read the article, but the headline that homicides have dropped by 15?? What is that?? With all the drive by shootings and murders I read about, 15 would account for maybe 2% lol.

That's all fine and dandy. However, with all the budget cuts proposed, you'll have to rid your streets of those you don't like yourself.

every time there's a bad shooting the family members claim the shooter or the gang related victim was "a good boy" who was trying to get his life on track, loved his 4 kids, and was working on becoming a great Rap music star, reduce crime by organizing nightly raids on the high crime areas, use more cops, more cameras and more court convictions. the answer to increased crime is simple..build more prisons

It is time to realize that gangbangers have no civil rights ...they are criminals, doing criminal activity, so why should we care about their civil rights?...we need to finger every gang member, and then wipe them off the streets...lock them up, or kill them, it doesn't matter, but until we wake up and take back our hometowns, the "BAD" guys are just going to laugh and walk right over our civil rights.

As a dem who believes in strict law enforcement, bit e me! Repubs don't have a lock on law and order, or protecting this country. Remember WWII? A Dem was president, and we kept our country and way of life. So you can bitch and moan about the problems of today.

Repubs try to scare everyone into thinking only a repub president could protect this country from terrorism and crime. G-d forbid, this country can't afford this type of managing much more.

Are you one of the Bushies who has gotten wealthy manipulating industries via war, scare tactics, covert policy making and non-bid contracts?

You were fine until you had to put the blame on dems. Oh, by the way, who has been running this state the last 8 plus years? Repubs. So stick that in your...

You lost me at "vote democrat and vote often". How in the world will more idiots like Kennedy help this country. They are ALL idiots in Washington and have lost touch with the American people. We need fresh faces and new ideas and those presently in office havent't got a clue.

That includes republicans and democrats !!

Vote democrat, LOL!! You mean the bleeding heart liberals who always take the side of the criminal over the victim? The same ones who worry about the living conditions in prison for criminals. Who rally for more social programs for offenders instead of enforcement.

If your comment was towards the political argument that was going on, can you be a little more specific about that?

I'll tell you where we are, and most people know it, but no one wants to admit it..... We are at the stage, where it is literally time to fight back.
Now, that isn't always as ugly as it sounds. But, it does involve planning, and preparation, and action, and follow-thru, starting right this very moment.
Have control over everything you own, so if there is a storm, or someone commits a crime in your own, you can really do something about it immediately. As in, having pictures of all your valuables, and all pertinent receipts. Keep a folder, and a back-up disc with all that information.
Always have money saved, so that the very instant you have a crisis- like the car breaking down- you are never overly exposed to the streets, and can recover quickly. For instance- regarding a auto break down: always have a map, so you know exactly where you are; have a cell phone, and important numbers in your contact list; have snacks and water so that you don't end up stressed and with low blood sugar; keep a medical kit in your car, and have a basic understanding of first aid, so that if you are the victim of a crime, and you are conscious, you might administer temporary aid to yourself, and stay alive until paramedics can look you over.
Study self-defense. Take excellent physical care of yourself, so that you can endure the shocking violence of a street attack, or the physical shock of an accident or injury. Working on things like stretching, and boxing, and wrestling, and grappling, and Martial Arts, is going to give anybody the basic tools they need to survive much more effectively.
BUY A GUN, AND GO TO THE RANGE AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH. DON'T TELL PEOPLE ABOUT IT, DON'T WAVE IT AROUND, AND DON'T PULL IT UNTIL IT IS TIME TO PULL IT!
A lot of people think advice like this is militant, but it is not. It is normal and reasonable. 300 years ago, everybody fought to survive, and it was accepted and understood. Of course, as a race, we have progressed, and strive to embrace civility,... but violence exists,... so you can do nothing, or you can do something.
Plan, prepare, train, take action only as necessary, and survive.
