Busch crew chief Addington confused by firing

Steve Addington says he doesn't know why he was fired as crew chief for Kyle Busch.

Yeah, don't know how I feel about this. They definitely had their peaks together but when they hit a valley, it was like no one knew how to climb out of it. I thought Addington had the same calming affect on Kyle as Zippy did on Tony.

Kyle must have felt they weren't going to get it done.

Addington seemed to do an ok job. He should have been given a chance. Busch whines about everything.

I would guess that it's because he didn't get in the Chase this year. Remember, this is a performance based sport...

I remember Steve not being able to do anything for Bobby LaBonte or JJ Yeley. Maybe he's not as great of a crew chief as Kyle is a driver...JMO.

I think Steve performed pretty well do you know how many wins they have? Maybe the weren't gelling anymore.
