Speedway offers alternate NASCAR tickets to fans stuck in traffic
"I would like to apologize on behalf of Speedway Motorsports to the fans who had tickets, yet due to logistical issues, were not able to attend the inaugural Sprint Cup Series race at Kentucky Speedway," said Marcus Smith , president and chief operating officer of Speedway Motorsports Inc., in a news release.

Yeah the free tickets to another race is nice but what about the couple of hundred people spend in gas and another 3 or 400 for motel and all for naught.

I remember as a kid how hard it was to get into and out of North Wilkesboro, if my memory serves me right, traffic issues are why N. Wilksboro was excluded from the schedule. Bruton Smith owns N. Wilkesboro, I have no respect for this monopolizing jerk that buys and sells tracks to get what HE wants!! There arent to many motels in Sparta, maybe he will build those too!!Either way, a rich man gets richer at the cost of NASCARs fans!!!
