Cal "I bankrupted my race-team" Wells is...........GONE!

WTF is going on, over on Chartwell Dr., Banger-Buds? It was announced, today, that one of the longest members of the POS Racing/Motormouth Motorsports "team" left the organization.
Early in the season, we had F-1 engineer, Mike Coughlan, going back to England and F-1, now Cal Wells is leaving.

Are we having some financial issues going on over at Motormouth Motorsports, Banger-Buds? Coughlan and Wells leaving, Bayne sent packing last summer, "Pizza-Face" Truex and the #99 Ex (Wet) Dream Machine shut down, until "Spaghetti-Bender" runs for a few races this year and next year.

Maybe chrisco will be able to "weave" all of this information into the once-famous and highly touted......"Five-Year-Pl an".....which WE supposidly had one of the original copies, which was concocted around a few (well, really a LOT) drinks at either the Rusty Rudder or Red Rocks, by POS, Cal "I bankrupted my race team" Wells, Coughy, "Lie" Norris, Bobby "rocket fuel" Kennedy and Buffster!

Is this just the start of POS Racing/Motormouth Motorsports coming.......unglued?

Cal Wells leaves Michael Waltrip Racing: Michael Waltrip Racing and Calvin Wells have mutually agreed to part ways it was announced by co-owners Rob Kauffman and Michael Waltrip. The separation is effective immediately. "We want to thank Cal for his strong contribution to getting Michael Waltrip Racing to where it is today. We wish him the very best in his future endeavors, " said Kauffman. "We plan to go forward now with the solid management team that is in place, and bring MWR to the next level."(MWR) Wells had been Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for the team. Before joining MWR he was owner of PPI Motorsports'#32 Cup team.(7-25-2011)

Dill, WE did happen to send you a copy of the infamous, Five-Year-Plan, did she?

What do you think was the catalyst for all of these mice to start jumping ship?

Could the announcement, of the "infamous sealed divorce documents" of Faux King, have anything to do with it?

Just how embarrassing would it be to be associated with MWR and the ever protecting hand of Faux King,
Speed, and Nascrap?

Just think of all of the Mystery cautions, the wave arounds, the big motors for select races especially when MWR needed some sponsor support, recognition, or the winners circle money.

How about those rain wins, the constant media hype from the Faux Kings personal media representatives and of course the Official Nascar Sponsors on the MWR cars.

I wonder it those " UN..sealed documents" will make it into the Hall of Shame!!!!!

Could it be that some folks just cant bear the shame?

It sounds to me that Cal was ready to move on to his next adventure. You're a smart business man and there was nothing else you could do but get away from the bullshit drama. My best regards

I know this is quite old, but thought I'd add my 2 cents. I worked for Cal at PPI in 1993/94. My life long dream was to be involved in off road racing somehow. I only mention that because it was Cal Wells who DESTROYED that dream as well as me as a person. In the months leading up to the debut of Ivan Stewart's Toyota chassis 015 we were required to do what ever was necessary to get the truck finished. That meant long hours... I mean REALLY long hours. We were working over 100 hours a week. My longest week was 110 hours at the shop. This went on for almost 2 months. I was in my early 30's with a wife a house and a 2 y.o. son. This did not sit well with anyone. When I complained, I was told "There's the door, you are free to leave anytime ...". 3 Days after the truck debuted and Ivan won the Baja 500, I was let go from PPI... BOOM! "See-Ya!" Fuckers. And to twist the knife, I had leave to get my truck to haul my tool box back home. When I got back to PPI, my tool box was sitting in the parking lot outside the security gate. Cal is a douche. This whole episode totally ruined me.

ANYWAY.... Fast forward to 2012 and I ran into Sal Fish the retired director of SCORE International. He tells me the reason Cal left NASCAR is because they finally got tired of all his whining and crying and NASCAR told him to hit the road. Karma bitch!
