Banger-Buds, Tipsy Sock Walker's & U-Turner's, Owensboro Kross Dresser's and Wall-Banger Kook-Aid-Konsumers.....looks like there were no JAP-rides winning, once again, today at Daytona. It was two of those Obummer's Govt. Motors rides, with one from GM-Govt. Motors and the other from Chrysler-Fiat-Govt. Motors.

Looks like the Truck Race should probably be won by a JAP-Tundra since about 90% of the field is.......JAP/ToJo Motors.

I would almost bet that the 500 will be won by either a RCR or Hendrick Govt. Motors (GM) ride, wouldn't you, Banger-Buds? I am not sure if the JAP-rides will last 500 miles, as several blew-up in the 150's, today. One was out of the POS-Racing garage......Germain's junker, as another TuRD puked and there was a lot of smoke and oil coming from it.

I noticed all of the rides that didn't make the show, for Sunday were.........how did you guess......JAP-junk!

POS got really lucky, today; but nothing from Motormouth Motorsports ever lead anything, today, especially "Dick" or "Dork"!

I will be so glad when the 500 is over and we don't have to listen to POS "shill" his book, any longer or "shill" the tribute JAP-ride, that #15 JAPA/CRAPA ride!

I think if I have to put-up with that CRAPA-commercial, one-more-time.....I am about to take a Glock to the big-screen. Screw it and POS!

D, wouldn't it be simpler to just change the channel for 15 seconds, that would save a perfectly good Jap WIDE SCREEN?

My worst nightmare...Martin Truex proved how smart he is yesterday. I did NOT want Reuti teaming up with him, but Dave really had no choice. And then, Martin had a plan and it worked. Oh, congrats to Michael for coming in 3rd! Isn't it funny how well he does on the most difficult tracks?

By the way, a little turd told me Buff and Mike are not divorced yet. Hmm....

Let's make D sit in a chair and suffer, like one of the victims in SAW and make him watch Mikey swing his butt back and forth for about a week. I wonder mentally what that would do to him??

Thank God it was a black Helmet and not a Purple one!

Clueless as ever. Truex about ruined it for Mike at one point. Yeah, he got up front for a lap or two but it's obvious he and Reuti don't know how to run these plate races.

Actually, Truex did Mike a favor when he managed to split Mike and Reuti up. This led to him eventually hooking up with Kyle Busch and the two of them was one run away from winning the race. While Truex who was up front wound up 9th.

I think the worst thing Mike can do is wind up with Reuti or Truex. Reuti aint aggressive enough to get his arse up there and plays too timid. Truex showed all his cards too quick and got shuffled out. Was reckless as hell and be lucky not to cause a big one if he drove like that again. If there is anything the 150 should have taught him, it would be WHEN to go.

I don't give a chit what y'all say though, even with a different drafting style and being shuffled to the rear because of his bone head employees, when it was 1 to go Mike had found his way to winning contender and was one run away from taking that victory.

I'd much prefer the old Daytona drafting style (free willing it from car to car) than the 2-car hookup but needless to say, Mike seemed to know what he was doing a lot better than his full time employees.

If Mike learned anything, it should be "don't hook up with his own drivers".

Dill when you learn a little more about racing you will learn that Daytona (especially newly paved)..is not even close to being one of the most difficult tracks.

All you need is a FAST car or know the draft. POS depends on a fast car. And a bigger restrictor plate!(Ask Kyle Bush)

Just ask Brian Kesolowski and he had a 2006 model car.

POS is the worst driver on the track! They are going to try and get their Cinderella story with POS but I don't think that he can last without wrecking. LOL

I know he finished 3rd and barely more than a car length behind 2nd. Him and Kyle get one more nice hook up going on that last lap, we'd have to pass you a glass of the kook-aid in the midst of celebration.

I am not clueless, as ever. And, if Michael wants to team up with any of the two, then he should. I think he can do just about anything alone, also. They seem to love drafting at Daytona.

I don't analyze or see shit all the time in a negative way. Did I like him teaming up with Truex? Not really. But, Truex and David seemed to work fine. But, it was Martin's calls, not David's. David is not a good leader; probably never was or might never be. I don't care. Mike chose him because he knew he could drive and Reuti proved it to me.

I am just going to enjoy this season and not get all wrapped up in the bull. One of the drivers comes into the hobby shop all the time when he is here and I can ask him just about anything. Maybe, if I see him again, I can talk about MWR and see what his opinion is. I like to listen to all sides, not just one.

I never thought a truck race could be as interesting and exciting as it was this evening. That Racebuddy was a lot of fun to watch the race with. Man, when they wreck, they really wreck!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

How come the fellows always talk about Daytona being so tough? Or, do they mean it was before it was paved over? I have even heard a couple of my Roush boys say they actually miss the bumpiness of the old track. Oh, well, I know why they like Bristol and I know why they like or hate Tally. Bristol seems to be the most exciting track for fans, but that is just from what I see on TV. When I went to school there, I never went to a race; was not into the sport at the time. Too bad. I would have been able to have seen Dale Senior and a younger DJ racing. And, Mr. Richard Petty, too. Bummer.

I got a lot to learn for sure, but I am getting there. I have improved tremendously within the last 4 1/2 years. The SaidHeads helped me out a lot.

Damn, did I call this chit on Thursday or what?

Read it again. The last line.

Final line of what I had to say. I knew disaster was waiting for him if he tried making it work with them.

I just knew it. He would have been better off with his good buddy Robby Gordon.

Once those wrecks began, I remembered the Thursday race report and your comments. Spot-on!

You are right, as I already told you, I monitored Trevor, today. He was NOT impressed with Marty, and ditched him, as soon as it was convenient, for others, like David Ragan.

You might have been right about drafting with Robby. Robby was pretty racy, in that MoPAR, today. I see he finished P-16, maybe? He got a little wild, right at the end!

Wow, I just noticed that Texas Terry was at P-15, in that shoestring-operation that Frankie Stoddard cobbled-together, a couple of weeks before the start of Speed-Weeks!

Now, Frankie Stoddard's team would be a huge contender, if he ever got some money behind his operation. That Latitude 43 deal he did last season was a complete sham, for him, his crew of 3 guys, Boris Said and others who drove or were involved with that shady operation.

Frankie is not kidding, when he says he runs the operation with himself, his wife and about 3 guys in the shop. I visited No Fear Racing, in 2007, and actually got to talk with him. It was pretty lonely around there, that day!

I've always thought Frankie Stoddard was a good crew chief. I remember him from back in the Jeff Burton days and he was genius at times! A real solid CC. I used to wish back in the day that Mike would get him. Yeah, yeah....I know. Just a wish.

I'm not long from disappearing for awhile again. You know I check in on you guys and post when the feeling hits. I read the "stuff" on here. But my main posting is when Mike is in something. I'll be honest, I'm not much on the rest of the MWR team. I'm happy for Mike IF they do something good, but otherwise, I don't care too much.

To be honest, when Mike ain't racing, I've become a bit of a Kyle Busch fan.(I can just hear the groans). That might be just one reason why. Hey, at least I ain't gotta wait centuries for good finishes. I like his no chit style. He reminds me of some of the greats.

Anyway, no matter how much you guys get to get my goat around here, I'll always be a Michael Waltrip fan without shame. If you're ashamed then you should find someone else. You gotta stick with your driver. I think I always have.

Oh and I did like seeing the Wood Brothers win. Some of my fondest memories of Mike is seeing him in that #21 Ford. The Citgo car used to be real pretty back in the day. When he left and went to the #7, I thought his career was over. Funny how things turned out.

Anyway, I've probably got a few responses left in me and then I'll be out awhile.

goPos is starting to feel like he's wearing out his welcome. If I don't say it elsewhere, I'll say it here. You guys take care. If I didn't like you guys even a little (even my known enemies)...not you Wall....I wouldn't come here.

GoPOS, interesting point about the single car teams. I just looked at the first 20 or so finishers, and there were these teams getting good results:

Wood Bros, Front Row MS, Furniture Row Racing, Phoenix Racing, US Chrome/Stoddard, Robby Gordon and Rusty Wallace Racing.

That is damn-good that 1/3 of the top-20 were small, underfunded, small-fleet outfits.

Of course most of the Hendrick, Roush, JGR, and Childress rides either blew-up, wrecked or badly wounded, as a result of RP-racing.

Glad to see these teams get some great purse-money from today. I can't find a complete break-down, but Bayne/Wood Bros. walked-off with around 1.5M for the win. I hope Trevor has some kind of % deal with Roush/Wood Bros.

Just great that those 7 teams I mentioned hauled in some "big-bucks".....toda y!

Now, don't be a stranger around here. I know it will get pretty slow, until POS hits the track at Dega.

Maybe he will get tapped to run that JAP/ToJo-Sponcfier ride, out at Sonoma, once again.

Wait For It
