LMFAO, GoPOS, POS takes out half the field and his team car.

This is some very funny chit, GoPOS.

Maybe this asshole should stick to the JAPCAR ToJo Motors Truck Series, the has-been's Cup Drivers who run in that series, and a little messin' with the rules.....like the fallen-down spoiler.

Well, at least we got POS off the track before he wrecks 12 more cars.

Eagerly awaiting for the race report, big guy!

Thanks, again!

Yeppers, if I were POS, I would stick to writing novels and running trucks, for those few races left in his fading-career. Pretty much proved he is not quite up to racing with the big boys.....you know, like Trevor Bayne! I am still laughing my ass-off, GoPOS, that POS let him walk, with this kid's.........huge-talent. Anybody see if Trevor's spoiler fell down? Did it rain? Anybody blocking for him, get injured? Did Trevor need a Sucky-Dog or wave-around? LMAO!

Wasn't is funny-as-hell, that Truex couldn't run worth a shit, after Bayne ditched Marty's sorry-ass, towards the end of the race.
Did you happen to monitor Bayne's radio......he was bitchin' constantly that Marty didn't know what the hell he was doing, in that two-car-draft.

I guess "Dork" and "Dick" need to get some lessons from an expert, like Trevor Bayne (you didn't think I would stoop so low as to say get lessons from POS, did you?). LMAO!

POS has been a great teacher to no-talents like those Butler-twins. That is about par with POS's talent-level!

Hey GoPOS, be sure to lay off that Wall-Banger Kook-Aid, as I am reading some of your posts and you, dude.....are buzzed on that chit! Get back to......"reality"... .Dr. Pepper for you!

LMFAO!

Always funny that it's awesome driving when somebody else wins it.

I knew Bayne was the real deal last year and I hated to see the kid go. You could tell he was going to be big time real quick. He's a talent for sure.

Can't really say much for Mike in this race. 2 wrecks in what, 26 laps and done for the day although I don't think either one was his fault, it doesn't look good to be involved with both of them. So joke away. It is what it is. I think with Kyle, it was a mistake and he has enough talent not to take anyone out, including Mike and himself and go on and finish the race. Pretty awesome. Reutimann on the other hand, bonehead move and then doesn't know how to crash. Takes himself out, Mike out and half the field. That was the difference between the 2 wrecks. One knowing how to wreck, the other just being a bonehead from start to finish and taking everyone out with him.

I'm telling you I seen it on Thursday. I knew I wanted Mike to stay away from the MWR cars. They might be "decent" elsewhere, but at restrictor plate tracks, they just need to hang out back.

I also think Gordon hit it on the nose when they talked to him. He said he understood the 2 car drafting deal, he gets it. The cars in the front should definitely hook up and drive away, but mid-pack on back, they was all driving 2 and 3 wide in those two car packs. He said just wait for the pack to thin out and then go and hook up. Amen Jeff Gordon!

Amazing, once the big one happened, the pack was thinned out and the 2 car packs could move around with ease. But here we were mid way back with Reutimann trying to stick his nose into 3 wide situations. I just knew Reutimann wasn't up to the task this weekend. Truex wasn't half bad but I didn't want to hook up with him either. It doesn't matter. The day was over before the race really got going. So, I'm not going to get all upset over it although it does piss me off it sucked so bad.

Like I said, I'll just enjoy whatever races are left. Whether it be 2 or 3 more, or 20-30 more, I'll just be thankful for whatever I get to see. I'm glad he made the race and I'm glad he WON the truck race and yeah, I'm disappointed in the 500. But I think I was more disappointed last year because towards the end we were somewhat involved and blew it. This year I never got a chance to get my hopes up. So, it doesn't matter. I went out and did some things towards the end of the race and watched it on the DVR when I got home.

Congrats Trevor Bayne. Sorry we lost you but we were also the one that got him going. So we should take a little pride in knowing we had picked some one with good talent. We just didn't have the RESOURCES to keep him.

Drinking the Kook-Aid...

NOW, NOW, boys, let's stay on topic. We just need to keep the discussion going on just how badly POS ran, today.

If I were POS, before Dega....I would get Cough....y....to pay Trevor Bayne some.....big $$$$(I mean YEN!) and get POS, "Dork" and "Dick" all together and let Trevor teach them a......drafting by two-cars.....seminar. I am sure he could teach these, three, goof-balls a great lesson.

Trevor spent almost the entire race pushin' various cars and never once, spun the other guy, like POS did to both Gomer Kryle and "Dork".

I wonder if POS went to Ford's, he might run a little better, also?

Did you notice that it was a Ford...1-2-3 at Daytona, today, GoPOS?

Now, boys, let's play nicely around here, like we always do (well, most of the time).

We surely don't want to hear or read, that someone doesn't play, nicely with others, around the Topix Banger-Board.

Since Renee 29404 ("Fishy")left and took her "nut-jobs" with her, like WE and POSfan, it has been rather pleasant around here.

10-4?

Good race report, btw!

Still not totally sold, if I enjoy this kind of racing, are you, no matter who won.

I think if it would have been anybody other than either David Ragan or Trevor Bayne winning, it would have been just another yawner, for me.

It was just so exciting to see a part-time outfit get that win, especially such a great guy as Bayne wheeling the ride. It was a pleasure to listen to his scanner, also. He wasn't yelling and screaming at his spotter, either.

It will be interesting to see if this win will get more racing for that #21 team. I am sure Trevor has a lot to learn, when he gets to the short-tracks and road courses, if he continues to drive the #21.

I was also impressed by David Gilliland, as he has been one of my favorite, Ford drivers, ever since RYR-days, when he took over for Saaaaaaaaadler, when he bolted-over, mid-season to Evernham. He has always had very tired equipment, even when with RYR. Then it was off to TRG and S&Ping. He was Front Row Motorsports's driver of choice to keep all three of their junk above P-35 last year. What ever one was falling out or close to falling-out, he got to qualify and drive that week. They were Fords, with not enough money to get FR-9's during 2010, but kept two always above the cut-off. This year FRMS is running the FR-9's, also.

Well, Phoenix should prove interesting!

Just seen this...

I'm not sold on it because it depends too much on another guy sticking with you for long periods of time. You expect a winner to come from someone sticking with you the last 2 or 3 laps, but not the whole dang race!

I much prefer the old style of drafting where you could dodge from car to car and catch a draft and it was like a chess match. I know I'm biased as hell but I DO think this is one of Mike's #1 talents (of his limited few). Even when he was with junk cars I used to watch him weave back and forth from car to car catching a draft off of anyone he felt could get him further to the front and that is when and where I really 1st became a Michael Waltrip fan. I always knew it was his forte. Perhaps his ONLY forte, but it was what he could do best.

The 2 car draft just involves too much trust for far too long. If one of the 2 drivers messes up, its not like you could just get behind someone else. As Truex so awesomely proved in the 150....3 cars together totally sucked. Before that could have been a winning ticket. You just had to depend on someone else too hard with this 2 car draft stuff. It looked like 20 single big cars out there instead of 43 small ones. I'm not a fan, but it wasn't horrible racing either. It could have been a lot less enjoyable than it was. I'm hoping the old days come back the more the track gets drove on.

As for seeing a small team win....yeah! I'm sick of the same 8 drivers winning every race year after year. When I first started watching racing, a small time ride might win a race or two and it was always heartwarming to see it happen. The last 10-12 years its been big guys or nothing. You know they're going to win the majority of the races and I'm fine with that. But they don't need to win them all. So yeah, I think it's great Bayne won for the Wood Bros who have always been classy. I feel good for those guys even more than I do for Bayne. And yeah, Bayne should bring an influx of cash to that team. If I was your boy Jack, I'd dump Regan and put Bayne in that Rockstar Logistics car as fast as I could.

Give him just a bit of time....

Bayne is the real deal.
