This is a crock of poop!! I have been an active fan of NASCAR since it was started, these altercations between drivers and team members used to be an exciting part of stockcar racing. Hell, the fight between Cale and the Allisons is what sparked national intrest in the sport. From the Saturday night short tracks to cup, fightin has always been a part of the sport. NASCAR said "boys have at it", gave the drivers rope to police themselves. Seems like to me they have changed that ever changing mind. RC is part of the old school class, these ol boys have that go to your ass attitude, he sent word to KB to not mess with his stuff. Of course KB is sayin that he didnt get the message, but thats just a lie. Kyles rowdy attitude is in question now, he aint the baddass he wanted folks to believe he was. RN ahd JM handled a disagreement like men, JM is considering a law suit, what a girl he is. See, where I come from, if you cross the line with another man, and he whoops you, you take your whoopin like a man and move on. If things come to the point where somebody wants to knock your block off, you must have done something to bring that kind of action on. Cmon, NASCAR, just because folks is broke and cant afford to attend your races live with a ticket purchase, dont start takin your losses from the teams and drivers. NASCAR must stand for....National Association for Stealing Cash from Auto Racers. Let them go NASCAR, break it up, slap them on the hand and lets get back to racing. All this drama with NASCAR directing the way makes me sick.

Blahbity blahbity? You know why you see things from your perspective and NASCAR doesn't? Because they have evolved. There's too many variables that could lead to some serious injury. Maybe you didn't think Harvick's run-away vehicle was warning enough?

Not trying to stir things up between us but come on. Boys have at it must exist only where they can have at it where everyone's wearing a roll-cage and helmet. That's where these guys work, and a certain amount of pushing and shoving is to be tolerated. If they take any anger and displeasure OFF the racing circuit, the only thing it's good for is motivation to race harder.

This is big time, big money, lots of prestige, not the kick ball field in grade school where a child has yet to learn to control his temper. From the way you're talking, you believe the 'manliest' men settle their grievances with war. I despise the idea that violence is the go-to for anything but self defense unless you're in the mob or an assassin.

That said, if someone challenges me, I'd accept under the rule that as some poor sap finds it better to attack me rather than send me a bill, it's a lot less appropriate for him to be signing autographs from a hospital bed. Simply said: Someone wants to act uncivilized, I want to make a statement to him and others - I am not comfortable with people invading my personal space. It ain't like I ask for a lot, and it IS in his best interest if he can still chew food and see out of both eyes AFTER all the swelling is gone.

The only thing that I would add is NASCAR should install a boxing ring in the winners circle after the trophy has been presented and let the boys that are pissed off at each other, settle it like they used to. Heck, I'd pay to see that!!

I understand your point, but cmon AP, ol Kyle has been bringing this on to himself for a longtime. And the fact that Montoya is thinking about a law suit for Ryan slapping his face is just pussylike. I by no means am sayin that NASCAR should turn into a fight night reality show, but i drather see the boys fight out their differences than wreck each other having at it at 175 mph. Maybe I havent evolved, maybe thats part of NASCARs problem, they have evolved to much. You got to remember, this sport was birthed from some of the honeryest and meanest cats around, moonshiners and ridgerunners who didnt take no crap from nobody, and to take that concept out of stockcar racing is crazy. Yes, there is a limit that should not be exceeded and RC did not exceed that line. He warned KB, and KB had to be his smartass self and test the waters. He got what was coming to him. Its a damn shame Kyle is like he is, the boy has all he needs to be one of the greatest of all time in NASCAR, his winning ways are proof of that. But he dont have the respect in the pits and with the fans cause he is just a punk that acts like a punk. Ol boys like that need that ass warped to see the error in their ways. I would be a fan of Kyle but 2 things in my head say no. 1....he drives a Toyota..2.....hes a self proclaimed badass that couldnt whoop his way out of a paper poke. His demeanor is a big turn off for a lot of people. And I dont think your starting anything, you just see things differently. You won my respect a long time ago when we did go at it, I know I learned from it and I hope you did too. and also remember that Ive seen yesterday and today, I can make comparisons that are real, todays NASCAR is a far cry from yesterdays NASCAR, some good, some bad. But when them daily mind changers in NASCAR can stick to their guns and quit steppin in when they said have at it, thats when things will come full circle. Hard to complete a circle when your constantly changin the way its drawed. And instead of Kyle hittin Harves car he should have got out and been a man about it. Its easy for Kyle to run that mouth but when its punch time he runs like a girl. We are ok man, I respect your opinion!!

Wel, thanks. But keep in mind this is stockcar racing not fight night. I watch to see a race, the fighting is just an occasional bonus. I wanted for a long time for somebody to whoop Kyle, he got out light this time, if he dont change some things Im afraid its gonna be a bad day for him real soon!!
