A date this far in the future seems a loss for Mayfield, NASCAR can easily wait it out, JM may have trouble staying afloat from what I hear.
Can his lawyers push it up

Who cares. He's got no shot of winning anyway. If he wants to waste his money and make those lawyers a little richer in the process, I'm sure they'll be happy to take what little he has left.

I can tell you for certain many other drivers out there have tested positive for meth and not one thing was done to them due to their popularity and favoritism from NASCAR.

Well, we certainly wish you would enlighten us as to who these other drivers are.

I wouldn't. The last thing I need to hear is some couch potato spouting off about their, "inside" information. I can tell you for certain that this is yet another one of those, I know a lot of the drivers and I work closely with Dr. black, blah.... blah...... blah...... ramble........ ramble...... yakkity yak......... types. Anyway, hope everyone had a good day and an even better one tomorrow.

I personaly do not think Mayfield used Meth. I think Mayfield was being honest in saying he prescribed Adderall. Adderall is a drug that is used to treat ADD. Chemically speaking it is very close to Meth. The diffrence being is one you get from a pharmacy with a doctors prescription for a physoligical condition and the other is made in some trailer park somewear. The diffrence between a Meth head is that they take large amounts so that they can get into a somby like state and stay up for days at a time and Adderall is taken therpudic doses that allows a person to focus.
The rub is some lab tech reads a the results from a piss test and see an indication of amphatime usage but does not check the person medical history. NASCAR recives the results and looks at it band substance list and again does not read the drivers medical history or does not care and only sees the results of the drug test and the band substance list. NASCAR not knowing any better bands Mayfield and makes a press anouncement to show that thier (NASCAR)drug testing policy is for real. Mayfield fires back that he is not a METH head and now NASCAR cannot back down or else it will look light a idiot and every postive drug test past or future will be questioned. NASCAR behind doors tells Mayfield to take a feww weeks off and "go to rehab" and admit he had a problem and all will be forgotten. Mayfiled tells NASCAR to screw themselves becuse he does not feel he dig anything wong whick he did not.

End result a pissing match that Mayfield cannot win against NASCAR. So Bill France wins as usual

Lets face it would you trust a drug test that you pissed in a bottle and then NASCAR took it the drug testing lab. That is just plain stupid.

It would be a better sport if all drivers were required to drive drunk. At least it would be exciting. All they do is ride in a damn circle.

Aw, Poor Justin! He's just a little jealous of the NASCAR drivers because they make good money and don't have to hang sheetrock or some B S like he does.

The missing piece in your argument is how the d-amphetamine showed up in his system, which is only a byproduct of Meth use.

Now granted you may see some d-amphetamine if you take Adderall and something like, say, Claritin. Which is what Meth users commonly tell drug testers they've done prior to taking a drug test. Tell them you're on an amphetamine and you took Claritin. It's common practice.

So how do we explain the excessive amounts of d-amphetamine when they have accounted for the l-amphetamine(the byproduct of metabolizing Adderall) has been accounted for.

Unfortunately this isn't as simple as some lab tech mis-reading the results. Computers do the work and they are pretty specific tests.

And do you not trust Baseball's drug testing program or the NFL's program. Because they have their players pee in a cup and send it to a lab.
