Does anybody else think it's kind of funny that over a week has passed since Mayfields latest drug test and NASCAR has nothing to say? They have been screaming about him being a meth head, but hasn't released the results from the last test... Things that make you go Hmmmmm

Nothing strange about it to me. If Mayfield tested positive he would really be a total dumb*ss! NASCAR isn't going to release anything that might present a problem later with the lawsuit. They're going to play hard ball with him. NASCAR was probably hoping he would refuse to be tested in the manner they had told the technicians to conduct the test. I bet he'll tell them everything he's taking when and if he ever makes it back to the race track and he's on a prescription. Coming up hot from any of the labs that he and NASCAR are using will be the end for him.

Yeah that's what I was thinking whoyakidding. There is a gag order. Nascar isn't about to do anything to jeopardize the result of their motion and lawsuit against him.

I still want confirmation that his primary care physician prescribed the Adderall. Like I said, I heard he got it at a clinic.

First of all, let me state that I have been a fan and supporter of Jeremy before he made it to the Big Show. I lived in Owensboro Ky. when I first started following Jeremy. Even got to know Jeremy's mom and visited her from time to time at her store. That said, I hate to say it but Jeremy is finished in NASCAR. France and Company have destroyed a the reputation of a great guy regardless of the outcome of the new test. Imagine, the fan outrage if Jeremy causes a wreck on the track. The name calling, the taunting from fans of other dirvers would be unbearable. He will never find anyone with guts to support him as his sponsor unless it's Howard Stern. For just one minute think, if Dale Jr, Tony, or Jeff had a negitive test result, do you think they would go public with the results or would France and Company do further research and work with the driver to determine the real source of the lab results. It's about MONEY. If you think otherwise, you're living in a dream world. Nope, Jeremy had just a big enough name with little enough financial backing to use him as an example. Going back through the tapes of those last races in which he participated indicated to me that he did a great job in avoiding wrecks. Not the typicle reflexes of a meth head. It's over for Jeremy and France and Company will never, never ever admit a mistake if it so happens to show they might have been wrong in their first test. Regardless of the results of the second test it's over but I sure did enjoy Jeremy bumping Dale Sr out of the way at Pocono for the win. That was worth all the years I spent following Jeremy. Take care gang. I'm off to Indy Racing. Regardless of your position, be civil, polite, and courteous to each other.

We still have this little problem with failing a drug test because he didn't tell Nascar the prescriptions he was on until after he failed. A clear violation of the policy. And he's arguing that he shouldn't have to tell a toxicologist. Uhh yeah, because that's what he agreed to in his contract with Nascar.

Where are the test results. It dont take this long. Unless someone is running with there tails between there legs. I dont think Jermey had meth in his system. If he had as much as Nascar said he did the man would not be able to walk let alone drive. Drug testing has its place and is needed. I do think that ALL drivers and owners should be tested every week before the race. Nascar is worried about the other Driver and Fans safty well test everyone then. What good for one is good for all. Good Luck Jeremy!!

Yo, where are the test results ? More than 4 days, and what is with all this B/S about tests get done in Mexico. Mexico is where medical people go if they can't get certified to practice in the United States.

As nice as that is, random drug testing is much less expensive than testing everyone.

And what's funny is everyone if forgetting he may not be a meth head, but what if he is abusing adderall and claritin D???? Wouldn't that show up as a false positive, but be in violation of the drug policy?

And haven't we cleared this up. The reason no one is saying what the results are is because there was a gag order and Nascar still has an open lawsuit against Jeremy. So better safe than sorry.

Thee is not reason for NASCAR to release any results of anything that could become a part of a court procedure, in fact it would be counter productive, as far as the legal proceeding would be concerned. To Combat Vet I would say, you composed a thoughtful and insightful post and it does give many points to consider. NASCAR is a tiered and less than consistent organization and yes, they do pull drivers with little if any sponsor support to make examples of. I do not like Jeremy and have given specific reasons for such, however, Jeremy was and is a whipping boy, perhaps a whipping boy who, by some questionable decisions and actions gave NASCAR the ammunition it needed. There has been drug use in NASCAR for many years and the only big name to be effected and that was because of threatened driver boycott was Tim Richmond, whom we now know was taking one of the first HIV drug regiments, called cocktails and would not and could not admit to same because of the, at the time, negative stigma attached to the disease. There have been so called NASCAR royalty called in and advised to clean up their acts, however, outside of the NASCAR powers that be, nobody ever heard about it.

Meth head for sure. Busted again. The hold up has apparently been due to Mayfield's side being unable to agree on lab to test sample B. See ya in the obits. Terrible, terrible drug!
