It appears to me they could let Jeremy take what he said he took, and then test him...and compare the test to the ones NASTYCAR said they had. I don't believe anyone in their right mind would mess up what he had going by doing meth! Hey, Jeremy...go and get them! L8R. Denver Dan.

Geez, hasn't this fool figured out yet that NASCAR would not make an embarrassing move such as suspending a cup driver unless they had the goods on the man, especially some whiny ass like Jeremy. All he's doing is spending more money he doesn't have. It won't be long before that little pudgy bleach blond he's married to drops him like a hot rock.

Michael "POS" Waltrip didn't make the last two races because he has NO driving talent whatsoever...he's nothing more than a hukster with lame TV shtick that appeals to idiots.
I'd love to see Mayfield get a break and hammer the NA$CRAP kingdom in court.

Thanks to the legal system most of the "facts" will never be made public. It is sad to see people make judgements without ever really seeing the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Then again you can say truth is subjective.

If anyone thinks this was an emotional decision by NASCAR against Jeremy, your wrong. They also lost in this deal, lost a talented driver, they also spent money on attorneys. No one WON in this.

It was a no win situation for NASCAR from the moment they decided to do the right thing and suspend a Cup driver for illegal drug use. It's not just a bad light cast of the driver, it's a bad light cast on the whole sport. If Mayfield was truely innocent he would have fully cooperated with NASCAR to demonstrate that to them and the racing public. No, instead he missed scheduled retests forcing NASCAR to send someone to his home. NASCAR and Mayfield had no fouled relationship before this incident that made it worth their time and money to false accuse Jeremy of drug use and place themselves and the sport in such a bad light. Pull your head out of the sand or your butt, wherever you have it stuck, before you smother Folks. Jeremy got caught for a little social indiscretion just like Randy Lajoie just did. Hopefully Randy will be smart enough to take the right route to return to NASCAR. At least, he was smart enough to admit his mistake. As for the "bleach blonde" remark, go back several years and check out some of her photos. Wish as you will, Jeremy Mayfield is TOAST, yesterday's sad story of an idiot in denial.

Yeah, great summary even if its unproven and far from accurate. But that's a whole other discussion.

Jeffery, with all due respect if you worked in Law Enforcement for 15 years, your department's standards were not very high. I bet the lower case i for first person singular went over real well on your reports. Now, as for you making compairson to Tim Richmond, you do not have a flucking clue. Timmy was on the first type of medication cocktails attempted to treat HIV and later full blown aids. The rest of the drivers were the ones who approached NASCAR about taking Tim off of the track when he could not stay awake to qualify and practice the car. Your reference to meth heads and bad teeth is a common trait for a "Street Meth Head", not a meth head with money to have regular medical and dental appointments and work. Jeremy is acting exactly like a "meth head" by thinking that the same judge will reverse his own decision made on the facts that were then and have not changed since.

You staed that you worked in police work for 15 years, I will take a guess that it was not as a sworn officer.

Hey VOR, I've been away and missed your entries but in truth, I really haven't missed the written nasties. I've been in contact with Jeremy but he didn't say anything about you looking at his personal calendar. How in the world did you know that Jeremy was having regular medical and dental appointments to counter the effects of Meth. You sure do get around. Hope all is well in Petersburg. It's hot as hell here in Kentucky. I've drifted away from watching NASCAR and spending my time in a more constructive way in building a 69 Mustang Cobrajet (428) with 4 speed toploader and a 67 (390) 2 door LTD that will be an old NASCAR replica. By the way, which driver has become your primary target now that the Mayfield story has run its course? Keep cool. CV

I just took if for granted that he kept regular meical and dental appointments, however, I will bow to your obvious superior knowledge of him not going to a Doctor or Dentist.

I am not sure that anybody in NASCAR ever drove an LTD in competition as they had gone to the Fairlane bodies in 1966. The Mustang CJ sounds interesting, I had a 1969 ugly green Mach I with a small block 351 years ago. My favorite ford that I owned was a 1968 Torino GT with a 390 and a four speed. It was the classic white with the black accent stripes. I had a trailer hitch on it and towed my 1961 Austin Healey Bug Eye Sprite that I raced in H Production in SCCA. The race car and tow car were painted the same color and each had hand lettered on the rear quater pannel, GDI Racing Team. The last letter stood for independent. This brings back great memories of my days racing in SCCA and auto crossing in the Virginia, NC and DC areas. I still go to Summit Point Raceway (2 mile road race track) and to VIR,(3.2 mile road race track).
