He wasn't so frustated that he couldn't party after the race. Jr talks out of both sides of his mouth. Oh I am so frustrated but me and my now divorced girlfriend are going to party after the race.
And you know he partied after the race, how? Were you with him? First hand knowledge, pictures... no thinking he did this, you must be able to prove it.

<quoted text>Rick is in a tough spot to find a top crew chief for the 88 team. The last specialist that could have handle this situation was "Suitcase Jake" and I'm afraid he's pulling up daisys now. If Jr. wants a dictator, I think Rick is going to have to create one rather than hire one from another team. Maybe a million dollar bonus to make the chase would motivate Lance into being a little dictatorial.
totally agree with the posts.. Lance needs to let out his inner dictator and he has on occassions, if you listen to the scanner. Go Lance, be more like that!

Really? When has that talent EVER been on display? That stuttering idiot had a couple of lucky seasons when DEI was cheating on the restrictor plate races and since then he never been more than an average driver at best.
I hope this "stuttering idiot" sticks around for 30 years just like M. Waltrip. Just crush the JR88SUX Retard Nation year after year after year. I love seeing that crying punk put in his place,.........BACK OF THE PACK.

Gee Lisa, maybe you should be more careful about your comments. Kornback Rattler was only making fun of Junior and the Junior Nation fans. Then you accuse him of making fun of "Mentally challenged people?"

While I do agree that Junior and his fans are all mentally challenged, I don't think you wanted to let that cat out of the bag.

Maybe you need to pay attention, I did not call Jr or his fans Mentally Challenged, I said He was using a word that publicly degrades The Mentally challenged. Another troll trying to stir the pot you are.

Anybody got any idea how much guts it took to even show up for that interview much less stand there and be truthful about the situation. He didn't do the damn Mark Martin rose colored glasses routine, the kid told the truth. He's in a situation between a rock and a hard place to the tenth power. He's right, if I was Lance Mcgrew, you couldn't give me the job. I feel for him. It's been one of those seasons that if they got the car running decent, you knew something was going to break or someone else was going to take him out. HMS has always had one team that it seemed like the cars were built in a shop in the village of the damned or something. For years it was the 25, now it's the 88.
Maybe it's not how the car is built, but how the car is being driven? When 4 cars are being built in the same garage with same research, equipment and expertise going into all of them, yet only one of them seems to consistently break down, fall apart, or not have any power, you have to look to what makes that car different. In this case, it's the driver. We saw Junior have the same problem his last season at DEI. Every race, it was something and many times it appeared to be a mechanical problem, but we have to keep in mind that the way the car is driven has a great impact on how it performs and can even cause mechanical failure. Seems funny that once Junior gave up in DEI, his car started having problems every race and now it's happening at HMS. When it was DEI, they blamed it on the wicked step mother giving him bad equipment. But now he's in the best equipment in the business and we're seeing a repeat of the defeatist attitude combined with the recurring poor performance by the same driver. Hendrick's equipment is proven, all the other drivers of that same equipment are in the top 5 in the points and a serious threat to taking another championship.

Sooner or later you have to stop blaming the team owners or the equipment and look at the common denominator...in this case it's the driver and many of the wrecks and mechanical failures that knock Junior out of the races can be directly traced back to how the car is being driven.
Say what

That's true. Dang it if Martin's not driving the 5 better than anyone else did, but Jr's not driving that 4th car any better. The curse of the 4th ride is mercilessly upon him!
Let's see, Junior came aboard the Hendrick train last season. Mark Martin is the most recent addition to the team...way I see it:
Jeff is the first ride, Jimmie is the second, Junior is the third and Mark is the fourth. So, Mark is the Hendrick driver with the fourth ride curse...funny thing is, Mark's talent is overcoming that curse. Junior doesn't have the talent to overcome a curse he doesn't even have since he's not the 4th HMS ride.

I'm sure it's all superstition, probably something about the way the numbers are painted on the car. Yeah, right.

I have to agree with you although Jr. is racing in a tougher era. More talented competetion. And I like the fact that Jr. doesn't use the wreck and steal move that made his old man so famous.

If Old Dale was around today he'd probably be just a grid filler, like his lazy son. If old Dale pulled the crap on the track NASCAR used to let him get away with; today's drivers would run him into the wall, then give him a good beat down in the pits.

All of juhnyers problems can be traced back to the voodoo dolls that the KB shrubby fans use. Burn all the voodoo dolls and jew-nyar wins 100 races in a row and 10 straight championhsips like juhnyer nation says he can.
