There's a LOT of so-called huge fans. But fans of what? A huge fan of some driver who isn't performing well?

It's still 43 drivers in cars racing around tracks. Still have wrecks, and hell we've seen some of most horrifying ever. We still see lots of lead changes and surprise upsets, rivalries, Martin on fire, Stewie's new team doing great, The Aussie and Columbian putting good laps in... just a bunch of good stuff happening.

So what's different? Those who went winless. The rest is just variables, and by that I mean - those claiming 'cheat' and 'conspiracy' when most of you couldn't theorize on a an agenda if your lives depended on it. What, money? Losing that from fewer fans, fewer wins by other manufacturers, taking a hit to the integrity of the sport, and allowing these so-called cheaters to just walk away with 4 in a row? The benefit being...??

Yeah, its boring if you don't get your adrenaline boost from your favorite driver grabbing the lead. But I really wish you SOBs would just say what it is you're really upset about. "I hate it when Carl sucks! I hate it when Biffle sucks! I hate it when Dale sucks!" Well don't blame those who don't suck, and dont cry conspiracy. Just admit your team didn't bring A game.

There is no since in pulling for anybody in Nascar because GM owns a lot of Nascar stock and thats why they always win at the end. My brother in law works for Nascar and told me quote "Unless you put a Chevy in the field then you might as well not race at all these days because GM owns stock and they get their way."

The COT killed the sport. I happen to like Fords. Show me a Ford on the NASCAR Circut. The annoucers think the fans are stupid. They will start a discussion about "How the Dodges are running really well" or "How RPM will have there work cut out for them switching over to Fords next year". Will they? How long will it take 1 guy to peel the dodge stickers off the cars and replace them with ford stickers? An hour?

How many times has the #48 been caught cheating? Hell they were caught cheating at dover but Nascar let it slide because it was the chase and they were leading the points. Now take the amount of time the #48 was actually caught cheating, and then imagine how many times he wasnt caught cheating (your not going to convince me that the times he was caught were the ONLY times they cheated)and these "claims" of cheating are a little more than just "claims".

Rick Hendrick is a lifetime cheat and a convicted felon. He built his race team with stolen money from a mail fraud scam. If he can do that, dont believe for a second that NA$CAR isnt a complete scam as well.

Stop shoveling Dale Jr down our resentful throats. Jr us not the savior that NASCAR needs. Kyle is. They need to start hyping the kid. He broke all kinds of records this year. He was the story. Jr is a has been that barely was.

"Rick Hendrick is a lifetime cheat and a convicted felon. He built his race team with stolen money from a mail fraud scam. If he can do that, dont believe for a second that NA$CAR isnt a complete scam as well."
But he gave a lot of it to Bill Clinton so that made it ok.

True, in the late nineties with the success of Jeff, he purchased a pardon from Bill Clinton to have his record wiped clean. Unfortuneatly, using dirty money to try to wipe yourself clean doesnt change the fact that Rick Hendrick is, and always will be, a crook.

I don't get some of you! I save my money and my vacation to go to the September race at Loudon every year. The roar of the engines, the smell of the fuel, the surge of the crowd as EVERYONE stands whenever the green flag drops! Passing, crashing, throwing helmets, it all adds to the memory that gets me through the Fox, TNT, ESPN, ABC duldrum. When I see someone do a donut at the end of the race, I close my eyes and remember the smell from September. The only thing ruining this sport is the whiners!!!!!

that's all very interesting but coming from you, it amounts to absolute SQUAT. If you want somebody to buy into your BS you have to provide sources that confirm it. So post your links to the stories or you can stop wasting your time because you're not convincing me, no matter how many times you click 'reply'. As far as I'm concerned, you're just another insignificant hearsay hound here to bitch about how unsatisfying your life is.

Wow your post said it very well... the racing is what it's all about. The whiners who see it as a soap opera are just upset about particular aspects but when all is said and done, its 43 drivers puttin their foot down and driving to the edge of control in an effort to get their cars to the front. I love it - sideways on exits, diving in hard and outbraking oponents, side by side action, coming in hot to the pit entrance, air guns popping lugs off, oh man! I'd have withdrawal symptoms if I didnt get my fix! lol

I watched NASCAR for 40 years. Growing up in the south my family used to go to all the reaces in NC, SC, and TENN. The COT is killing it or has killed it. Over the last 5 years, i can hardly watch. Its sickening. The leadership are morons. The drivers should walk out and I think they are about to. Now the IRL is the better racing, at least they have occasional passes for the lead. NASCAR GET A F___in CLUE! Dump the COT and go back to REAL brand racing. Yes I know the cars have to be purpose built for safety, but the don;t have to all look the same and race like a cardboard box.......... idiots!!

If you don't like it, how is it you still find your way here to complain? Shouldn't you have left and not looked back? There's this whole thing called 'Life' and so much of it does NOT involve NASCAR, so if you find it so distasteful, just find something different that you don't need to cry and bitch about.

The fact that Rick hendrick is a convicted felon is common knowledge.
